Stamp & Scrapbook Expo‘s talented crafter, Lorraine, is here to show how to create your own texture paste with products you probably already have on hand. It’s a quick and simple process that gives you a great product to work with. Lorraine shares the recipe along with tips for working with your paste once it’s created.
Thank you, Lorraine, for sharing this fun tip! At each Stamp & Scrapbook Expo, you can find Lorraine in the Creativity Center helping scrappers learn new techniques and nurture their own creativity. She’d love you to stop by and say hello, grab a seat, and create a project with her!

Can you add color to this paste such as alcohol ink ?
In most cases you can add color to the textured paste. I would suggest that you try mixing your color with the paste you have to make sure it does not separate before you use it on your project.
Lorraine is great!!! She always has such great tips!! Love her!!
I don’t understand Jen’s response. Does she mean not to mix it with the homemade? “I would suggest mixing your color with the paste you have.” If you can mix color with the homemade, what would you use?
Punch your homemade spreaders with a cropadile and string or ring them together!
I’m gonna give it a try! Thanks.
Can this paste be used on stencils or would it be to glue-y?
What a cool idea. Thanks for the tip
