Hello Stamp & Scrapbook friends and fans, Becki here to share a layout with you that I created with a fun punched circle technique. Recently I ordered a HUGE circle punch. This punch is gigantic and SO much fun to play with. It punches 3 1/2 inch circles. To create this layout I used the Summer Dreams collection from Echo Park Paper. The memory I wanted to document using this collection and this technique is a memory about taking my nieces to get snow cones on a hot summer afternoon while they were visiting us. I thought this color palette/theme was perfect for this project. While I used white cardstock for my background there is still a LOT of patterned paper on this layout. I chose several pieces of patterned paper and punched a few circles. (This technique can be done with any size of punched, die cut, or hand cut circles.) To create this row of dimensional circles, I scored and folded the circles at the top and bottom of the circle. Then, I adhered them along the left side of the layout. My favorite thing about this technique is that you can see both sides of the patterned papers. The photo is adhered to the left of the circles. I added the title below the photo and journaling above the photo. To continue with the circle theme of the layout, I added a few sticker embellishments and ink droplets.Do you incorporate circles into your paper crafting projects? I’d love to see what you’re creating and what techniques you use for adding circles into your designs.
