Hey Stamp & Scrapbook Expo friends and fans, it’s time for another edition of Inspiration Station with Becki Adams. Today I’ll show you how to use Stick-it adhesive sheets. Stick-it adhesive sheets are just one of the products that Latest & Greatest Cool Tool attendees will go home with. If you haven’t heard of this fun new product you can find more information on the Ken Oliver website. I used the stick it adhesive sheets to create a layout with LOTS of die cuts.
I used patterned paper, die cuts, and stickers from two Bella Blvd collections to create this layout (Popsicles & Pandas and Secrets of the Sea, Boy). Both of these collections are perfect for documenting all of your Summer memories. If you’d like to see how this layout came together using Stick-it Adhesive, watch the process video below:
My favorite way to use the Stick-it Adhesive is to adhere the large acrylic word “play”. I really love acrylic embellishments but adhering them can be tricky. I’ve found that some types of liquid adhesive don’t work well with acrylic. The Stick-it Adhesive worked great! Now I know I won’t find that acrylic word floating at the bottom of my page protector the next time my kids look at their albums. Stick-it adhesive also worked perfectly for my die cut embellishments. On occasion I found little bits of adhesive on the edges of my die cuts. In the video you’ll see that I used an adhesive remover (eraser) to remove the little bits of adhesive. The adhesive pick up square from Thermoweb is a tool I reach for all.the.time! I love how this project came together. I’d love to know if you’ve tried Stick-it adhesive. (Let me know in the comments below). If you haven’t tried this type of adhesive you’ll want to take our Latest & Greatest Cool Tools workshop at our shows in Chantilly, Duluth, Kansas City, Santa Clara, Edison, and Schaumburg. We would love to see you there!
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s edition of Inspiration Station with Becki Adams, “how to use Stick-it adhesive”. I’ll see you again next Thursday!
Being new to scrapbooking, I’m very interested in the Stick It sheets. I’ve made cards for years and own both a Big Shot and Cricut machines.
