Hey there Stamp & Scrapbook Expo friends, it’s time for another edition of Inspiration Station with Becki Adams. I’m here to talk to you about Latest & Greatest Scrapbooking with Felicity Jane. If you attended our Latest & Greatest Scrapbooking workshops this year, you took home products from the Felicity Jane Regan kit. Felicity Jane is a newer manufacturer that has a monthly kit club. They have gorgeous products! The Regan kit is full of florals and a very feminine vibe. I decided to challenge myself to create a layout that was masculine for my son with this kit. It was actually easier than I thought and I LOVE how it turned out.
To the left of the photo, there are 3 folded pieces of paper. I wanted to show you how easy it is to create these folded papers. I love the unique effect the folded papers gives to the layout. I started by cutting three 4″ squares of dark blue/light blue paper and three two inch squares of the white/grey plaid paper. 
Then I folded one corner of the square into the center.
After folding one side, I folded the opposite side into the center to create a diamond shape. After both sides were folded, I adhered the grey/white square at the top of the diamond shape. 
When I had all three of the squares folded, I adhered them to the left of the photo on my layout. On top of the folded diamonds, I adhered my title. I chose grey thickers and adhered them with a strong liquid adhesive.
Because I chose a bold design for this layout, I wanted to keep the rest of the embellishments to a minimum.
I absolutely love how this layout came together. It was such a fun project.
