Hello there, my beautiful friends, Vicky here and I am absolutely thrilled to be sharing some of my favorite things from our very first event that we named MEET THE MAKERS in Ontario, CA.
Our event was held on a Friday and Saturday and attendees received these fun items filled with amazing swag. They also received this amazing round badge that can be kept as a memento for many years to come.
We were honored to have Richard Garay of RG Studio 360 as our very first instructor.
He brought a fabulous Christmas-themed Travelers Notebook kit to follow along with as he instructed. What a great teacher he is and full of such creative ideas! I loved watching everyone so intently working along with him.
Another moment that I loved was hearing Stephanie Fleming of The Happy Planner give an inspirational question and answer segment all about her business and how to run a successful life, and most importantly spreading positivity in all that you do.
If you have been following me on this blog, I think that you can tell I’m just a little obsessed with Mommy Lhey. Who am I kidding, I am a lot obsessed with everything she does! She gave a little lettering lesson, talked about loving yourself every day in spite of imperfections, and even sang a little Whitney Houston for all of us!! I just really love her!
I adored meeting Christina from Plum Paper and she gave out this beautiful bag filled with a holiday planner that I never realized how much I needed until I saw it! You just have to feel the luxuriousness of the paper!! She also gave us planner stickers, a shopping list, paper clips, and pom poms. It was simply amazing!!!
Then our very own Florence Antonette of the Wandering Planners gave this rad box of California Love goodies and instructed all on how to set up super cute pages in our Travelers Notebooks. The box had California-inspired papers, a fabulous stamp set, a Travelers Notebook, and super duper cute ephemera. Just to let you know, we do have all of the contents to these boxes on our Wandering Planners website, so please go and give it a visit.
I also love Eileen Hull and was so enthralled with her project! I wish I had a picture of it but all I can say is that Eileen really knows how to captivate an audience. Everyone loved crafting with her. She is truly so talented and beautiful inside and out.
Our Planner Playdate was truly so fun and got the party started with these three gorgeous sisters of Inspired Life Studios. It gave everyone the chance to let loose, dance, and play. Check out their gorgeous line of washi that they just came out with and gave out as a make and take that night.
I honestly could go on and on and post photos all about our very first event, but I think I will leave it here and just invite you all to join us next year at one of our Meet the Maker events across this beautiful country of ours. I know our team and I would love to meet you in person, see your favorite planner, and maybe even swap with you!
At this holiday time of year, I want to let you all know that I am truly so thankful for all of you taking your time to read our blog. Love you so much!!
Vickyville xoxo
