All About Wandering Planners Events

Hi there!  Have you ever wondered what goes on at a Wandering Planners event?  Well, let’s take a look!

First, at each of our events we have two parts, our Sip & Swap and our Planner Play Date.  In three locations [Orlando, Schaumburg and Ontario, CA] we also have a Sunday Planner Affair.  They are all very different and each one so much fun!

Our Sip and Swap is a 3 hour event on Friday evenings.  Attendees bring 25 items to swap with one another and leave with 26!  We sip on drinks and snack on snacks and have a great time!  There are ice breaker games with prizes and time to chat with other planner enthusiasts.  There’s also a contest for the best swap [voted on by the attendees] with prizes, of course, plus a group photo and a planner stack photo!  The 3 hours fly by and by the time you know it, the evening is over! [Insert sad face here!]

On Saturdays we have our Planner Play Date!  It’s 13 hours of planner friends and playing with whatever supplies & projects you’d like.  We have an EPIC Planner Play Station with laminators, Silhouette Portrait, Brother Scan & Cut, Fuse Tool, stamps, paper trimmers and more!  Seriously, you can make dashboards, die cuts, and paper clips — that is the tip of the iceberg!

The Play Station is a BLAST!  People love printing photos on the Canon Ivy and cutting out stamped images on the Brother Scan & Cut!

Have projects?  Bring them with you!  You can get a lot done in 13 hours.  Plus, you’ll want to share them with the other attendees who love the same things you do!

Now, the Planner Affair!  It’s just exactly like the name would suggest, an AFFAIR to remember!  We have several speakers that will lead workshops designed to teach you skills or demonstrate projects you can use in your own planner.

In Orlando, Heather Kell did a plan with me in THREE different planners.  And that was just one amazing speaker!

Not only that, we have giveaways that are so exciting!  Including a Silhouette Portrait!

Now, we didn’t even talk about the fantastic swag, the Wandering Planners shop, or how we share our planners with one another – but those are great things you can look forward to on Saturdays and Sundays, as well!  There’s just so much goodness – we could go on all day!
