Hello Stamp & Scrapbook Expo friends and fans, Becki here to share a layout with you that I created using the brand new Crafty Girls collection. If you missed the release of this adorable collection, you can find all the details HERE. I’ve had so much fun playing with this brightly colored fun collection that celebrates spending time with crafty friends while creating. There’s nothing better, right?
Crafty Girls Layout
The layout I created tells the story of a crafty friend of mine. Some of you may know her, Vicky. Vicky is well known and loved if you’ve attended one of the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo crops. She’s also a familiar face in Wandering Planner meet-ups. I love this photo of Vicky and me sharing breakfast and making lots of crafty plans. I chose a white background for this layout so I could add LOTS of color and LOTS of patterned paper.
The 4×6 photo stands out among the three large strips of patterned papers. Each of these patterned paper strips have black stitching around the edges. The black stitching makes the patterned paper stand out even more against the white background.
After the bold patterned paper strips were added, I kept the embellishments to a minimum. A few stickers and die cuts completed this layout.
This layout was so easy and fun to put together. I cannot wait to see what you create with the Crafty Girls collection! If you’re in the Sacramento, California area, the Keep It Simple booth will be on the showroom floor. If you’re NOT in the Sacramento area, you can always shop in the Keep It Simple online shop.
Thank you for stopping by the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo blog. I’ll see you back here next Thursday for more Keep It Simple Inspiration. Have a great weekend, friends!
