Hello Stamp & Scrapbook Expo friends and fans, Becki here, to share a mini album with you that I created with the Namaste Home collection. This collection is full of beautiful shades of teal, pink, and yellow. It also has a cozy home vibe to it. Even though this collection has a strong home theme, I was able to create a travel mini album with it. As a result, I realized what a versatile collection Namaste Home is!
This summer my mom and I went on a school trip to Washington DC and New York City. We had a wonderful time. If you remember, some of the SSBE staff went to the National Stationary Show in NYC last year. You can read more about that HERE. I love NYC! I was so excited to go back. We only spent two days in NYC. I got a few great photos that I wanted to put into a mini album for my daughter.
The first thing I did was die cut several tags from patterned paper in the Namaste Home collection. After that, I collected stickers, die cuts, and a few other embellishments that coordinate with the collection.
To add a pop of color to this white page, I punched a few circles from patterned papers in the Namaste Home collection. You’ll see these circles throughout this album. By using punches, I was able to create a few easy embellishments. I love my circle punches.
There are a lot of ribbons, bows, pom-pom trim and fringe throughout the album. These simple additions create tons of texture in the mini album.
With the bright, bold, happy colors in this collection, it made creating this cute little mini album a breeze.
This mini album only took a couple hours to create. The fun bright colors made creating this album with the Namaste Home collection a breeze. Make sure you grab the Namaste Home collection in the Keep It Simple store, it won’t be in the store forever. Once it’s sold out, it’s gone!
