Hello! It’s Jennie McGarvey and I’m back with you again to share some scrapbooking inspiration using the Boys, Boys, Boys collection from Keep It Simple. I am the mother of 3 boys so this collection is just perfect for me. In fact, I had a photo that I just really wanted to scrapbook, as it was taken of all of my sons and I just love it. I was happy to create a special page featuring this photo I love.
I have two favorites, patterned paper and die cuts or ephemera. I almost always use both on a project and this one was no exception. In fact, aside from a shipping tag from my stash, I only used patterned paper from the Boys, Boys, Boys collection and the matching ephemera on this page. The foam square adhesive I used on the back of a few of the die cuts added a bit of dimension on the page. Another small touch that I love is machine stitching – it really makes the page feel complete to me and is so easy!
These colors and patterns are just perfect for all of those boy photos! They are simple and vibrant – which can fit with so many masculine photos.
This cluster is my favorite part of the page [after the photo, of course!]. I absolutely love these pieces layered together in this decorative cluster. The frames add some detail, but thanks to the blank/cut out center they don’t take up much visual space at all! It’s the perfect accent for this fun photo I know I will cherish for years to come.
Have you used the Keep It Simple Boys, Boys, Boys collection for your favorite photos? We’d love to see how you are creating with this playful collection, so make sure to share with us on Facebook or Instagram what you have created!
I love this collection!
