Join us for a fun class creating a 6-page mixed media scrapbook layout. The class will be featuring our new generic National Park paper which can be used on its own or combined with any of our other popular National Park papers and titles, so you can tailor it to fit your pages. You will also be using our great laser cuts combined with our wood miniatures. After class bring your ticket to the booth to choose one of our National Park/National Monuments titles free of charge. This class will teach you to build a scene using masking, as well as how to use the stipple brush monochromatic technique. You will work on both coated and uncoated cardstock to create both a daytime and evening version. We colored our daytime scene with Prismacolor pencils, but you can use your favorite medium. It is likely that you will finish your coloring after class. You will share stamps with a buddy, and you will take home one of the stamp sets used.

You don't need to be Monet to master basic watercolor! We will explore how to paint with confidence with various techniques and conquer four different images. Paint at your own pace or follow along with each image. We will also talk about the right paper, ink (if stamping), and specific watercolor techniques like lift out, dry brushing, gradation, and more, as well as acquaint you with your brushes. All the images and instructions are provided so you can truly play. You will take home a three-piece set of watercolor brushes and watercolor cards. At the end of class, prizes will also "bee" given to a few lucky winners!

Your kit will include a set of shape templates, ephemera, and material to make four 12 x 12" pages. We do not expect you to complete everything in class. The layouts feature hidden pockets, layers, bling, and lots of full-color, die-cut ephemera. There are a lot of techniques and cutting, both with a paper trimmer as well as by hand. Because of this, our goal is to guide you through the techniques and send you home at a point where you can easily add your photos, journaling and finish the pages later. PLEASE NOTE: Our samples include circles and scalloped circles. If you want those shapes, you will need to have punches to do them later. Otherwise, you can substitute other shapes.

Quilling looks so elegant and unique - but also looks difficult. Not true! We will dive into the basics to get you started with lovely quilled accents that can adorn cards and layouts. You will create two cards with materials to take home.

Create unique cards and vintage borders with this old world technique that involves pinpricking and/or simple stitching. We will create fun cards and border designs that can work well in a scrapbook layout. The patterns are yours to keep!

Welcome to "Stenciling Delight," where creativity knows no bounds! In this exhilarating journey into the vibrant world of stenciling, you'll unleash your artistic potential and transform simple materials into delightful works of art. You'll learn the secrets of layering stencils to create stunning depth and dimension, master the masking technique to seamlessly blend colors and shapes, and explore the art of ink blending to discover how to harmonize multiple stencils for unique and captivating results. Throughout the workshop, you'll craft four exquisite cards, each showcasing your newfound skills and creativity. In this class, you will create a unique, one-of-a-kind 3D Shaped Suitcase Mini Album that fits six 3 x 4" photos, and one larger 4 x 5" photo. You will work with precut elements from our "A7 Pop Up Suitcase" die set to construct the mini matchbox album, and the suitcase card base from scratch. Class kits also include all of the decorative pieces that you will paper piece yourself to adorn your suitcase. You will use ephemera, templates, lace, and more to create a two-page layout featuring sunflowers and butterflies. You will be provided optional verses to use. To add value, we are including additional 12 x 12" yellow and brown cardstock along with a lot of extra ephemera, so you can make additional coordinating pages (or cards) later, if desired.

Every 5 minutes a card is born! Sound impossible? You'll do it! In a similar but different one hour class as last year, you will learn how to turn a 6x6 paper pack into 12 beautiful A2-size cards! In this class, we will explore ways to use watercolor on A2-size images. You will use and compare two different types of paper.
