Stars are such a great decor item to decorate with indoors and even outdoors. This charming star was created with the Graphic 45 “By The Sea Collection”. You should give this a try because I promise you will love the final project. This fun star was created by Lori Williams. She has so many beautiful and wonderful creations. I would highly recommend you to pop on over to Pinkcloud Scrappers to see her outstanding projects.
To start your project take a plain 3-D star. You can purchase these at your local craft shop. Use a piece of copier paper and lay over your star. Take your bone folder, crease the outline of the star shape. This will create your template for you to use.
Next you will cut your shape out of the paper and then use as your template for your designer cardstock. You can draw in pencil around your shape. Cut out the pattern and do this on five different patterned paper.
Pronounce your center crease with a bone folder for a crisp edge.
Run your pieces through an adhesive machine, then attach to the star.
Finish off all five of your shoots on the star as shown.
Top it off with whatever embellishments you would like. For this one, sea shells and rosettes were added.
What a creative way of giving your plain star a pop! Decorate your star to match your home decor.
Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style. Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
