Hey friends, thanks for stopping by today! The last time I shared a layout with you I used the Basic Grey Typeset collection. Well, I had so much fun playing with that collection that I thought I’d share another layout with you using the same line. I thought the colors and elements in this collection went perfectly with this sweet photo of my daughter and niece fishing along the river this past summer. When I took this photo I was thrilled to have captured this sweet moment between two cousins.
I wanted to emphasize two things on this layout – the photo and the word “love” in the title. Initially I thought I would use letter stickers for the entire title, but I changed my mind when I found this huge gold glitter “love” in the DIY Home collection by Pebbles.
I typed the journaling with my typewriter and cut it into strips. I added the strips above and below the title; this technique keeps the focus on the title and the photo.
There’s such a special relationship between my kids and their cousins. I want to capture those moments and relationships especially when they’re young.
This is one tiny moment that tells such a great story. How do you capture those special moments and relationships in your family?
Thanks for stopping by the Weekly Scrapper blog; I look forward to seeing you next week.
