Technique Spotlight with Paige Evans: Circle Clouds

Paige-technique-header

I have a new layout and process video to share with you today featuring a technique of punching circles and using them to make clouds!

I love the colors of this collection by Pink Paislee called Summer Lights – so versatile and bright and happy!

I love using a lot of patterned papers on my pages! To create the clouds I punched different sized circles from the 6×6 Summer Lights paper pad. Then I trimmed strips of scrap paper and covered them with adhesive. I layered the circles, largest to smallest, over the sticky strips and then trimmed the excess. To attach them onto the page permanently I used a zigzag stitch and my sewing machine.

Check out the process video to see exactly how this layout came together:

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you give this technique a go and I’d love to see what you make!
