Throughout his education, Ken Oliver studied art and design, but ultimately followed a career path in sales and marketing that took him literally around the world working with clients and factories in Asia, Europe, Canada and the United States. His experience in sales, marketing, and product development actually led him back to arts and crafts industry. Ken is an accomplished artist who specializes in watercolor, paper crafting, altered art, mixed media bookbinding and craft projects. Ken lives in Newburgh, Indiana on the banks of the Ohio River.

In this technique class, we will focus on color theory, layering colors, stenciling, stamping, coloring, and wet-on-wet painting. You’ll learn techniques that can be applied to your card making, scrapbooking, mixed media, watercolor painting, and home décor projects. You will leave class with mastery in Color Burst techniques. Your kit will include one pack of 11 x 17″ Water Media Paper and a Kraft Tex cover. Color Burst, stencils, brushes, and templates will be available for in-class use.
