My September Planner Setup

Hi, my friends, Vicky here.  How is everyone today?  I hope that you are all having so much fun working in your planners with me.  There is nothing more enticing to me than knowing I can be organized and efficiently plan my month and then to make it even better, making my planner the cutest ever!

Every month my favorite thing to create for my planner is the setup.  If you are following my blogs you know that I am mildly obsessed with Mommy Lhey’s subscription boxes.  I decided to use her July box to make my September setup.

I absolutely love collecting planner clips.  I love to make them, swap with friends, purchase them, and as in the picture above on the far right, get them in the subscription box.  When you add your clips to the setup it allows you to stay in the same color story and theme.  When you need to work on your weekly spread you can use your clips to easily flip to the correct page.  So not only are your planner clips functional but they also add to the cuteness and you know I am all for that.

The left side of my planner setup always has to be visually cute but also hold product that matches my monthly theme.  In this case, it’s Mommy Lhey’s colorful sweet treats for the theme.  I always make sure I have sticky notes, planner clips, sticks, ephemera, and paper so if I decide to work in my planner I will always have things to work with at a minute’s notice.

On the inside of my planner setup, I love to decorate it as a sort of title page. Here I used the lovely and adorable Mommy Lhey’s paper and used a black doily and then my glitter turquoise and hot pink paper to die cut hearts.  I found some inspirational ephemera and laminated my title page to ensure it’s sturdiness.  After laminating I used my glue gun to add the hot pink trim and the mint oval pearls to add dimension and beauty.
