We had so many comments on last week’s post to win two admission passes to a 2015 Scrapbook Expo event of your choice, that I have decided while there are still lots of 2015 events left that we need to do the giveaway again. I absolutely loved all of the comments left on last week’s post. I feel like I am getting to know so many of you through your comments each week.

Did you also know that we have a Facebook group for each location that a Scrapbook Expo takes place? In these groups we chat with fellow papercrafters about product, the shows, classes, and projects we are all working on. These groups will keep going throughout the year in between the shows. And I am lucky enough to get to know you in the groups as well! I would love for you to join us!

Would you like to win two admission passes to a 2015 Scrapbook Expo of your choice? Leave a comment on this post and tell us what project you are working on right now or what project you last completed. And, if it has been a while since you created, what are your plans to get started again. I can’t wait to hear about all of your creations!

looking forward to the Ontario expo in October. I use to take my young daughter with me, but after awhile she just wanted to spend time with her friends. Lately she’s been wanting to hang out & bound with me, saying she actually missed not going to the shows with me. I have to admit, those days going by myself did save me a lot of $$$’s, but I did miss her & “mommy buy me that”!! I got mu money already saved up to buy, buy, buy!

  5. Dee Dee Nida says:

Currently I am learning how to use chameleon pens. How cool are they. I am in Japan for two weeks taking a vacation and lots of photos for my next project. Can’t wait for Denver in October!

Never attended an Expo but would absolutely love to!!! It would be a dream come true!!! I am working on a 4th of July printer’s tray, some cards that I am sending off to children in the hospital and a few Christmas projects right now. Also working with my 10 year old grandson on a paint by number for his dad! I love watching my grandchildren create because it gives me a sense of peace. Thanks for the chance to make a dream come true!

  11. Yvette Williams says:

The last large project I worked on was a 15 card order of Thinking of You cards with the window design of front n back stamp by Art Impressions. That was a lot of work, but the client was happy.

  12. marylouh says:

  16. Connie Snowberger says:

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my forays with friends to EXPO in Pleasanton and Santa Clara, CA. Even took my husband once! That was interesting as he was in a generous mood that day. 🙂 I’m currently not working on a project as I’m in the middle of cataract surgery, but when my second eye is done…look out, cuz I have a lot of ideas in my head! Would love to win tickets to help make the time pass more easily.

  17. Dora says:

Been scrapping since I was 19 ( over 40 years ) and my first one even has a strip of the strange toilet paper from Spain. I generally scrap my travels.Anything not nailed down and can go in my scrapbook, gets there. My family even helps my collection by giving me napkins, do not disturb signs, etc. from our trips. I have over 50 albums and still counting. I look forward to the scrapbook expos every year.

  18. Cindy Thompson says:

I just finished making graduation cards and hope to get started on my Christmas cards not that all the graduation parties are over.

  19. Yadira says:

I love creating, so I always have at least two projects going on. That way when I finish one I have the other, plus I switch back and forth to stay motivated! Right now I’m working on my baby’s 2nd birthday party, so I’m creating invites, decoration, etc. and also have a scrapbook in progress for her big sister (my step-daughter) with pictures she has sent her dad through the years. Now, having the little one and all that goes with a toddler in the house, I don’t have much time to stay current with new products and techniques, so the EXPO will be a great chance to see it all in one place! Can’t wait for the Ontario EXPO this year!!!

  20. Jacqualine Astudillo says:

I started out scrapbooking and eventually moved on to card making….this “;hobby” has greatly evolved as I have attended a few Scrapbook Expo’s that opened me to dies, stamping, using markers, embossing. The list goes on. I am excited at the prospect of learning and exploring more and more avenues and techniques. The prospect of attending another Expo thrills me and to think I might actually win free tickets sounds fantastic.

  21. Tammy Riedel says:

I attended my first Scapbook Expo last year and had a WONDERFUL time. My lovely daughter (and best friend) lives in Orlando, and I live in Denver. I hate to be so far apart. Well, she is getting married next January, in Orlando. I have been able to fly back and forth to take care of some major things, but miss out on the little things. I decided to create an album of this special journey we are on, using pictures and memorabilia of all that occurs, no matter where we are. My plan is to give the completed album to her at a reception we are having in Denver in early February. She and her husband will have many, many pictures and albums to look at, but my hope is that “our” album will be among her most treasured. What better place to find inspiration, ideas and product than Scrapbook Expo? LOVE your blogs and the EXPOS. Would love to go back again this year.

  22. Carol Coleman says:

Well, I haven’t crafted in a while due to health issue. My friend and I are heading to Santa Clara where I’m taking classes and do the mega make n take plus the Saturday crop. I really like when the vendors come on to the fb groups and share. It inspires me to definitely add those to the booths I go to. I’m hoping to either work on Disney layouts or Christmas cards.

  23. Marie Gray says:

I have been to many craft shows and I have seen and learned more new things and at a Scrapbook expo than all the other shows combined.
I am currently working on making a multi page (88 pages) 12 x 12 photo album. I make all the cards that I send. I introduced a recently retired friend to card making last year at the Denver Scrapbook Expo. Now neither one of us will ever miss the Expo!

  24. Michelle Eaton says:

I go back and forth between scrapping and art journaling, and am working on my first thank you card for my brother and sis-in-law thanking them for letting me visit with them in Texas. I have really been surprised at how scrapbooking my mom’s life has unveiled her life’s story beyond pictures. I am lucky to still have her here and can tell her story in her words. Once it’s all done and everything is put away properly. I am going to start working on my daughter’s Broadway Baby album (my daughter was a theater performer in NY until she was diagnosed with MS…her MS is why I am moving my studio up to our main floor…she needs a new creative outlet since MS forced her to quit the theatre ). Some of them have even hired me to do a few projects. I love knowing that my time is appreciated and that people like what I am doing.
I have never been to a Scrapbook Expo before, and actually had never heard about it until this year. I have been a giddy school girl reading all about it and watching YouTube videos to learn all about the classes and who has good sales! My husband can’t help but laugh. I am so excited to go, and will be even more excited, and grateful, if I received free tickets.
