Hello, Weekly Scrapper friends! Welcome to Inspiration Station with Becki Adams. Today I have a scrapbook layout to share with you. Recently I fell in love with this globe cut file in the Silhouette store. I immediately downloaded it and cut it out using a piece of kraft cardstock. After I cut it out, I set it on my desk and shuffled it around for a few days. I realized I didn’t know what to do with such a large die cut. Today, I made myself sit down and use that die cut on a layout. I used a mixture of supplies from a handful of different manufacturers to create this layout about my little man starting kindergarten.

I wanted to show off as much of the globe die cut as possible. Instead of placing my title on top of the die cut, I placed it along the edge of the globe. To hold the Thickers in place I stitched them with my sewing machine.

The photo on this layout is in a chipboard frame and surrounded by a few embellishments. Stickers, flair, die cuts, and stamps finished off the embellishment cluster surrounding the photo.

I used a very fine tipped pen to write my journaling on a small portion of the die cut above the photo. I used a fine tip pen to keep the writing subtle.
