Happy Friday! This week I want to tell you about the new SCT Delivered Online Classes from our friends at Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine.
These classes have been cultivated by some of the industry’s favourite designers with the simple goal of offering you the opportunity to enhance your papercrafting skills in a self-paced environment. Each designer will contribute their creative talents to bring you a unique, one-of-a-kind class right to your computer.
Each six-week course includes:
- easy to follow step-by-step instructions for 18 beautiful 12×12 layouts
- exclusive PageMaps sketches
- technique-driven step photos
- electronic cutting files (.dxf and .svg formats*)
- complete supply lists (including paper collections)
- and so much more!
The inaugural class is based on the very popular Easy, Detailed, Expert article that appeared for 9 years in each issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine! All of the amazing content from these articles (and the full issues) is available for free download. You can view all of the past issues as well as the artwork for each article here.
Each week of the course is instructed by a different designer who will share three layouts (Easy, Detailed and Expert) along with tips.

- Week 2 – Nicole Nowosad
- Week 3 – Paige Evans
- Week 4 – Lisa Dickinson
- Week 5 – Sheri Reguly
- Week 6 – Sarah Webb
With a group of designers like these ladies, I am sure you are inspired already, but wouldn’t it be great to see some sneak peeks as well. Of course! Here you go … here are a few sneak peeks for each week of the course. Wow! I can’t wait to join these ladies each week and get crafty!
How fun is that! You can take a class each week for six weeks from the comfort of your own home. The class is even self paced so you can do the classes at your leisure over weeks or even months. Another cool feature of the class is the private online Facebook group that you can participate in with fellow papercrafters who are also taking the class. Imagine having an entire cheering section to share your completed projects with, ask for suggestions from and just plain socialize over an activity that we all love!

This sounds awesome!! I haven’t scrapbooked in over 2 years because of health issues, but now my studio has been moved upstairs so I can get to it now and not have to deal with stairs ( we are currently looking to move into a rancher ) and slowly starting to get back into the grove. I’ve picked up cardmaking in the meantime because that’s what I could do while stuck in bed and still be creative. Now I want to get back into scrapbooking, I’ve missed it so much! These classes look like exactly like what I need to jumpstart me back into my favorite creative outlet. I’ve missed scrapbooking so much!
