Sundays With Lorraine

Sundays-with-Lorraine

Good day, my crafty friends, and welcome back to Weekly Scrapper! It’s time for some creative therapy, so sit back, relax, and enjoy. You deserve a little ME time!

You Make Me Happy By Riikka

Have you had the opportunity to play with a Gelli plate? Monoprinting on a Gelli plate is simple, fun, and a great way to create unique backgrounds. I love the fact that you don’t need to purchase any expensive tools to create your own works of art, you can use things that you already have on hand, such as bubble wrap, plastic grids, foam stamps, stencils, leaves, different fibers, ribbons, and lace to create interesting imagery on your plate. The gratification is immediate, and the prints are amazing!

You Make Me Happy By Riikka Kovasin

As you can see by this beautiful layout designed by Riikka, creating your own unique background is just a few simple supplies away. To check out how easily this layout came together, click here and I will be honored to escort you over to Riikka’s blog Paperiliitin. I highly recommend watching the step-by-step video that Riikka has prepared to inspire her fellow paper crafters. You’re going to love it!

Celebrating Kindness By Jenn Shurkus

I know it’s hard to believe but not everyone is a talented paper crafter like you are. How sweet would it be to create a beautiful set of cards all wrapped up and tied with a bow, then gift them to someone special. What a perfect random act of kindness.

A Bit Of Kindness Card Set By Jenn Shurkus

Thanks to Jenn you can create this adorable set of cards in no time. Just click HERE and I will escort you over to her amazing blog – Creative Chick. Kudos to you for sharing those smiles one handmade card at a time.

A Little Help Organizing Your Craft Room

We can all use a little help when it comes to keeping our treasured craft supplies organized. I instantly fell in love with this adorable cart that can be purchased at your local Ikea store. The cart has four casters which makes it easy for you to move around. If your craft room looks like mine, space is very limited so it’s small size is definitely a plus.

Updated Raskog Cart Organisation

You can use the cart in different ways, including as an extra work area in the kitchen, as practical storage in the hall, or as a unique nightstand in your bedroom. The adjustable middle section is easy to move to adapt to different storage needs. If you, too, have fallen in love the RÅSKOG Utility cart (it runs about $29.99) click here and I will take you over to the Ikea website so you can check availability in your area.

Honey Garlic Shrimp

Thanks to Kevin & Amanda you can have this delicious meal on the table in under an hour. Not only is this tasty dish perfect for those “need-it-in-a-hurry” moments, but it’s also on the healthy side. Sautéed shrimp and red bell peppers are poured over a bed of spiraled zucchini and yellow squash. So delicious and flavorful!

Honey Garlic Shrimp

Let’s take a trip over to Kevin & Amanda’s blog so you can print out the recipe. Just click here – you and your family are going to love this simple summer dinner.

Thanks for stopping by; I hope you have a wonderfully creative week ahead of you. With summer in full swing that means the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo is on the move and we have great things planned for you. Click here and I will take you over to our website so you can start planning an amazing weekend with some of your fellow paper crafters. I’ll meet you at the Creativity Center!
