I’ve been crushing on Lorilei Murphy’s epic style and eye for design the past couple of months and in fact I just asked her to be on my Silhouette design team! She’s so talented and I am so excited to share some of her favorite projects plus a new layout with you today!

Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started crafting: I live in the country with my soon to be 14 year old daughter and my husband of 25 years! I am relatively new to scrapbooking in 12×12 format but I have been crafty in some way my whole life! I feel the most happy when I am creating something!
Favorite thing to create: Currently my favourite thing to create is a 12×12 layout. Knowing that I can finish it in a short amount of time (versus an ongoing project life Project Life or Memory Planner) makes me feel a lot more creative and filled with ideas!
What do you love about this hobby? I love that this hobby is ever-changing and filled with possibilities. It seems like there is always something new to try or learn!
5 fun facts about yourself:
1. I cried when I got down to the last episode of The Office on Netflix, I really love that show!!
2. I am the worst for taking on accents when I am around them. I worry I would sound completely crazy if I were to go to Ireland for example!
3. I like to get up in the morning at least an hour or two before everyone else so I can have peace and quiet.
4. I love love love Macadamia Nuts and can rarely find them where I live.
5. John Grisham is one of my favourite authors!
BEAUTIFALL by Lorilei Murphy
Fall is my favourite season and this view down our road always delights me! I created this layout using Oh My Heart by Paige Evans & Pink Paislee. I used a leaf cut file from the Silhouette Store, punches and dies. I created the title in Silhouette and added water-colour paint to my white background.
FANTASTIC by Lorilei Murphy
For this page I punched circles from the Turn the Page 6×6 paper pad. I used the gorgeous yellow fantastic title and carpe diem chipboard arrow from Take Me Away by Paige Evans & Pink Paislee. The rest of the pretty flowers and banner clip are from Turn the Page.
MAGIC & DREAMS by Lorilei Murphy
Magic & Dreams is a big time favourite of mine! I think it is the whimsical nature, the photo and the use of my favourite scrap kits (Oh My Heart, Fancy Free, Take Me Away all by Paige Evans) all on one page!

My daughter and I call this layout – The Bluebird of Happiness! This layout is one of my favourites because it was one of the first stitching projects I have ever done on a scrapbook layout!
