Fancy Pants “Joy Parade” Cards

Fancy Pants "Joy Parade" Cards created by @jbckadams for @scrapbookexpo using prodcuts from the Latest & Greatest Workshops #cardmaking #SSE2017 #FancyPantsDesigns #BeckiAdams

Hey there Stamp & Scrapbook Expo friends and fans, Becki here. Today, I am SO excited to share with you a few cards that I made with supplies from the Latest & Greatest card making class. Did you know that the first Stamp & Scrapbook Expo of the year is tomorrow?!?!? I’m a little (okay, a lot) jealous of all of you that are attending the Pleasanton, CA show. If you are attending the show, make sure you take one (or all) of our Latest & Greatest workshops! In the Latest & Greatest workshops not only do you make fabulous projects but you also come home with TONS of hot off the press products. You can find a list of workshops available at the Expo’s HERE.

This week, I have been playing with products from the Latest & Greatest cardmaking classes. From the products that are in the class, I chose to work with the Fancy Pants “Joy Parade” products. In the class you’ll receive the “Joy Parade” 6×6 paper pad, the puffy stickers and the tags. I created three cards with these products and still have TONS of products left to make many more cards using only these three products.

Because I created these cards in my craft room at home, I was able to add some stitching with my sewing machine. I love adding stitching to my cards, it adds a perfect handmade finishing touch.

When I added puffy stickers to these cards I adhered many of them with foam adhesive. This gives the card a little bit of dimension and a bit of a shadow under the stickers. Notice the shadow under the typewriter on the “fun” card (pictured above). I also layered some of the puffy stickers (the yellow and black hearts in the photo above). Don’t be afraid to layer stickers to create dimension and give your products a whole new look.

Which Expo are you attending this year? Are you (or have you) taken one of our Latest & Greatest workshops? I’d love to hear your favorite thing about the workshop!!

Thanks for stopping by the Weekly Scrapper blog to see the Fancy Pants “Joy Parade” cards I created. I’ll see you again next Thursday!
