Good morning everyone! My apologies that our Freebie Friday is going live on Saturday morning. I was having internet troubles that kept me from finishing the post. I hope everyone has had a wonderful week. I was hoping that spring would bring slightly warmer temperatures here in Toronto, but I guess we will have to wait a little longer.
This week, we are highlighting Fancy Pants Designs. All I can say is WOW, when I received their new collections Office Suite and Flutter so many projects came to mind. These collections are so versatile. And their new textured papers could not be cooler! Love the looks and feel of these papers. Whether you are creating a project from all of your Instagram photos or a mini layout to hang on their 8×8 clipboard, Fancy Pants has a product for you. Their collections also include lots of brag cards that are perfect for pocket pages.
The Flutter collection includes both gold and chalkboard pieces. As soon as I saw the butterfly pieces in both gold and black, I knew exactly what I wanted to create. The word ‘Fly’ in gold has so many options. I thought of both layouts and cards that this ‘Fly’ work would be perfect for. I can’t wait to write a message to my daughter in this beautiful card!
Haha .. This image of my layout makes me laugh. Just know that the layout is actually straight and the edges are all square and proportional. I am not sure what really happened with this photo. The papers in the Office Suite sweet are wonderful for baby photos, kids and so much more. And the alphabet letters, I love all the different colours and patterns.
These cards were created for future layouts and pocket pages. I had a lot of fun using the brag cards, ephemera pack, and insta pack to create these cards. I look forward to using them on future projects.
The insta-album is a wonderful little album for 3×3 photos. With a thick cover on the front and back, it is a highly customizable brag book. This little album will be for my daughter’s selfie collection.
The gold paper makes for a fun pinwheel. It is gloriously thick and holds it’s shape well.

Thank you Fancy Pants! What an exciting giveaway! I use brag tags on both cards and layouts. However, my favorite use of brag tags is in the classroom as incentive for self-promotion on math facts, good behavior, etc. The kids love to wear the laminated brag tags on lanyards!
I haven’t even had a chance to use brag cards! I’m still learning new techniques. So many new things to learn. I took up crafting again after a long hiatus and there’s just so much out there now. I just haven’t had a chance to explore it all!!!
I am just learning about brag cards, but I think I could use them in my scrapbooks as well as in the cards I make.
