Hi friends! Today’s sketch is another take on making it all about the sentiment. Large cut-out words are backed with strips of patterned paper, and a few little embellishments add a nice finishing touch.
I was playing around with what embellishments to add and finally settled on this chipboard arrow, which I snipped in half with a pair of kitchen shears. The cute star sequin is by Teresa Collins.
I made the card front into a pocket by adding a little glue at the bottom of the die cut panel and stitching it to the card base down the sides. There’s a spot for a small tag at the top; it’d be so easy to add a gift card into the pocket, too, which makes this a versatile option for a thank you, birthday, or congratulations card.
Here’s the cut file! free_simply the best. Remember to add your creations to our flickr pool or share a link in the comments. Have a great week!
Love the pocket in the front! Thanks for sharing :0)
Thanks so much! 🙂 If you end up using it, definitely share with us, we’d love to see!
