Sometimes when you are just stuck and having a difficult time figuring out handmade card ideas, try layering multiple textures and colors.
This card shows a great use of mixing multiple textures using embossing folders and Core Essentials card stock. Some things of particular note on this card is that all the embossing folders use a variation of a cross-hatch pattern. Next, each layer is grounded by a common color, red, in this case. Plus, notice how the designer picked up the yellow and green colors from the stamped image.
Sanding the card stock slightly also helps tie the design together by picking up the vanilla color in the main panel and the button embellishment.
Have a wonderfully creative day!
