With Halloween just around the corner, here is a cute card that is really simple to make!
Debby Hughes, the designer talks about how she made this card, “I used a negative die cut circle for my moon with cute bats from Torico’s Bugs and Hisses set for There She Goes. The sentiment is from the same set and I backed it with twine to reflect the ribbon that Torico used. A bare die cut branch for a tree just finished off the spooky feel 🙂
I inked the paper for the moon with wild honey distress ink and then spritzed with water to give craters. Well they could be craters couldn’t they?! I inked the main panel with pumice stone distress ink and used a roughly cut cloud shape to mask and try and achieve the impression of swirling spooky mist. Gotta use your imagination a bit with this card LOL.”
