Do you have 2-5 hours that you can spare during a Scrapbook Expo weekend? Join our Scrapbook EXPO team for exciting volunteer opportunities. New Opportunities for 2013!!! Are you interested in helping out at the Scrapbook EXPO? Then this is the place to be! We have a variety of positions available which include: Express Will Call, Door Prize, Lobby Attendant, Door Guard, Crop/Tool Station and Assisting Teachers in their Classrooms (formally known as Teacher Pet).
Positions available will range from 2 to 5 hours in length (consecutive hours only) for individuals 18 years or older. All helpers must be able to work for up to 2 to 5 hours on their feet and be able to lift anywhere from 20-40lbs. No children may accompany helpers during their shift. Please be advised that we do not allow cell phone use, texting, IPod/movies or gaming systems during your shift. If you’re working multiple shifts please remember to allow enough time for lunch/breaks/shopping between shifts.
Times and Positions will be made available for preview on our website up to two weeks prior to Pre-Registration opening. Once pre-registration opens you may sign up for as many positions as you like, but please do not overlap your shifts and no breaks are given.
IMPORTANT: There is a $10 Reservation fee when registering online. Once you have completed your shift you will receive 1 Free Admission and Expo Reward certificates which may be be exchanged for cash or used towards workshops. Only one Expo Reward may be used per workshop. Workshops will need to be selected upon completion of your shift. Helpers working after registration hours will receive 1 Free Admission and Cash. Please scroll to the bottom of this email for more details on compensation for volunteering.

Please include me as a volunteer for the November Sacramento Expo. I would love, love to do this. I went to my first Expo last year and I will never miss another one again. had a blast with the classes and of course I shopped so much lol. Would be a pleasure to be part of your crew.

Where and how do you sign up to be a volunteer?
Go to http://www.scrapbookexpo.com and click on the location nearest you. From there click on “Buy Tickets” and then follow the “volunteer” tags through to check out. You need to buy a ticket for $10, but then you get it back after your shift.
thank you, I think I did it wrong though. I purchased a ticket first and then went back and purchased a ticket on the volunteer page for Thursday noon to 4pm. Oh well.
