I have been in the scrapbook industry for over 13 years now and I have never explored the world of digital scrapbooking. I was always a little intimidated. I have been traveling as part of the Scrapbook Expo Team for over 10 years now, so you can imagine how large my scrapbook stash is. Even after 10 years I still get the warm fuzzies when I hit the show floor and see all the treasure to be had. So when it comes to thinking about exploring digital, I panic. What will happen to all my embellishments, my paper and fibers and let’s not forget all the bling and glitter! After visiting The Shabby Shoppe I now have a solution, its called Hybrid Scrapping. Hybrid Scrapping (often referred to as altered art) is the combination of traditional paper scrapping and digital scrapping. I truly believe this is the best of both worlds.
See, we can have our cake and eat it too.
I would like to send out a special thank you to Lego as she is the original designer of this amazing layout. To see more of her work, please visit her on the Shabby Shoppe Blog. Not only is she an extremely talented scrapbooker, she is also an amazing cook! Wait until you see some of her recipes.
What is not to love about this adorable layout! The photos are sheer perfection. The color combination couldn’t have been better, and the look of sewing without breaking out the sewing machine! I think I am hooked. What about you?
