I would like to send out a big “Thank You” to Hilary for allowing us to share her adorable shabby chic project with you today. I highly recommend visiting her site Hilary Scraps. You will soon be adding Hilary to your favorites.
Hilary used the Kiwi Ink for the image, but decided it was a bit to bright so she distressed it with some Vintage Photo Distressing Ink and added some black pattern paper, an old newspaper clipping, a dipped walnut ink tag, some metal gears and a license plate by Tim Holtz. Toss on a little ric-rac at the bottom. Too cute.
Don’t you just love the fine details, like the Tim Holtz’s metal gears, that adorable licence plate and the stitching to name a few.
