Have you been trying to recreate that “authentically” old look and feel to your scrapbook pages? This gorgeous layout is so amazing. It certainly has that authentic vintage style. It is one of those pages that looks like it has been around for generations with that torn, worn, and battered look. I love how the vintage photograph of this wedding party really just completes this layout. This beautiful layout was created by Kim Price. Be sure to visit her blog Inkognito for more of her beautiful creations.
This layout is filled with the gorgeous Pink Paislee Hope Chest Collection using the Heirlooms, Keepsake, and Treasures patterned papers to create the base and layers. Distressing all the layers, Kim used the Distress Tool from Prima and Tim Holtz Distress Inks. 7 Gypsies tape, Hope Chest Journal Cards , and Ephemera pieces that were torn to add to that layered look. Finishing off the layout, Kim added a spray of Green Tara Flowers and Leaves and added the pretty Burlap Butterfly. You can add your personalized sentiment to your layout. A big Thank You goes to Kim for sharing this sensational inspiration with us.
Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style. Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
