Hearts are one of those timeless shapes that can be used on so many different projects. I love the simplicity of this beautiful Anniversary card that I discovered on the A Scrap Journey Blog. I’d like to send out a big thank you to Debby for sharing her beautiful heartfelt design with us today.
Debby used the Doily Heart from Simon Says Stamps, She cut it out twice but on the second she cut off the scallop edge & drew around it to make the red mat underneath. Don’t you love how Debby wove the red & white bakers twine on the inside of the heart. What a perfect finishing touch to the heart focal point. The beautiful scripted sentiment is also from Simon Says Stamps, Perfect Love.
This card is a perfect example of the “less is more” concept. Sometimes it’s OK to Keep It Simple.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit, I hope you have a very creative day!
