Do you share a passion for creating your own background patterned paper? There is something about starting out with a piece of white cardstock & ending up with a unique one of a kind patterned paper that calls to me. I love what Jeanne Streiff author of the Inky Paws Blog did with the background of this whimsical card.
To make the background, Jeanne drew a grid on white cardstock with a black and gold pen and a ruler. Then she smudged some cream-colored acrylic paint & did some splattering with brown and pink inks. After everything was dry, she inked the edges with brown ink giving the card a fun artsy look.
Here’s a closer look at the entire background panel. I love the soft warm colors highlighted by the black and gold grid pattern.
I hope todays project has inspired you to create some of your own one of a kind backgrounds.
Thanks for visiting & I hope you have a very creative day.
