Don’t you just love the warm neutral colors of this layout? What a beautiful vintage look and so very creative using Attic Dust, Gesso, and Acrylic Paint. This gorgeous layout was created by Nadia Cannizzo, an outstanding guest designer for Inkido. For more of her wonderful inspiration be sure to jump on over to Just My Scrapping World. You will be so happy you did!
First Nadia stamped her image of the Nature Stamp Foliage on her background and used Prima brick mask to create another image on top.
She then placed and glued her chipboard where she wanted it to show and with thick acrylic paint and a sponge, she then painted her chipboard while it was stuck down on the background paper making sure the paint went around all of the areas well.
To give a wonderful vintage look, dab some white paint on the edge of the leaves or flowers.
The Sizzix birdcage was embossed and sanded with soft sand paper to age it. Some distress ink around the edges will also give it more definition. Thank you Nadia for sharing such an amazing layout with us.
Be sure to stop by tomorrow for more inspirational ideas.
