Let It Snow

If truth be told, I enjoy the winter.  Especially the snow.  Now I know that is not a popular position among most folks, but I think the snow is beautiful.  Maureen of the blog, Buttons & Bling created this wonderful card with inspiration from a color challenge (and snow!)

I’ve always found challenges to be great for getting unstuck creatively.   Even if you don’t send in a photo of your project, they can help get you going with a new color scheme, or subject theme.

If you do submit your photo, a lot of the time there is a prize involved if you “win” the challenge.  Don’t be afraid to try, you never know if you may be the winner!

Maureen wrote this about her card “I took my inspiration from the colours and, of course, from the gorgeous snowflakes.  I made a HUGE snowflake out of felt and layered it with smaller glitter snowflakes for a bedazzling effect!”
