With the holidays approaching a bit too quickly, I was in search of a simple yet adorable Christmas card design and discovered this one on the Spellbinders website. They have a great Idea Gallery that really comes in handy when you need a push in the right direction. I’d like to send out a big hug to Jennifer Ingle for sharing her sweet card.
Jennifer used the Spellbinders holiday die titled Pictured Perfect. I was lucky enough to have recently purchased this must-have die at the Sacramento Scrapbook Expo, but if you don’t yet have it, you can go directly to the Spellbinders website.
To highlight the house and snowmen, Jennifer cut and embossed the dies with different colored cardstock and layered on top. I really like the handmade feel that the kraft cardstock adds to the card and you could use any patterned paper that you have in your stash for the background. Since the card measures a mere 4¾ x 4¾” this would be a great time to use up some of your treasured scraps.
Thanks for the visit and I hope you have a magical holiday season.
