Don’t you just love the clean and simple design of this card? What a fabulous card full of different techniques and inspiration. You definitely feel the love that was put into this card. Charmaine Stack created this beautiful card. Be sure to jump on over and visit her blog Tweedcurtain Productions for more of her wonderful projects.
What a perfect statement to add to your card. Charmaine used a fun rubber stamp from Quietfire Design. She stamped it using Martha Stewart Aloe Pigment ink. This really complimented the flowers that are the focal point of her card.
To create her card she stenciled pearlescent embossing paste through her stencil. She then dusted it with some silver mica powder while it was still wet. Once it was dry she trimmed it down and went around all of the petals with various Copic markers to highlight the colors. This gave it a nice effect. The colors are vibrant and the silver paste toned down the flowers to give it a warm feel.
Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style. Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
