Do you share a love of hearts? They are so versatile. You can use them on just about any project. Well you are going to love this adorable set by Papertrey Ink titled Happy Hearts. I’d like to send out a big that you to Melissa Phillips author of LilyBean Paperie for sharing her sweet Valentines Day card with us today. I highly recommend stopping by for a visit. You will truly be inspired; but be prepared to stay for a while!
On this card Melissa uses the sweet hearts cut from the Cover Plate:
Hearts die but without the Cover Plate. She created a pocket of these little hearts, sewn in between two pieces of vellum, and topped with the new Framed Love die cut from white cardstock.
I love this particular sentiment. How perfect for a Valentines card, a scrapbook layout, or any time you want to express your love? It is stamped in Smokey Shadow Ink on a Double Ended Banners Dies.
Melissa wrapped up more of the adorable die cut hearts in a glassine bag and attached it inside the card with a mini white clothespin. The bag is secured with a piece of Freckled Fawn washi and a stamped heart from the Happy Hearts stamp set. What a perfect finish for such a heartfelt card.
I don’t know about you, but I tend to neglect the insides of my cards. I hope today’s project has inspired you to give the inside the love it deserves like Melissa did.
Thanks for visiting & have a very sweet Valentines Day filled with much love.
