Pocket Pages are big right now. How fun and easy they are to create your fast photo albums using the pocket page sleeves. However, I love to use these on layouts as well. They make such great fillers and a wonderful place to journal. This layout is a great example of using the pocket page inserts. Don’t you just love how Rachel showcased the photo on her layout. This fabulous design was created by Rachel Funnell. Check out her blog A Window To My Scrapping World for more of her wonderful talent.
Rachel used stamps from Kaisercraft “Sketchy” & “Alphabet,” along with a 12 x 12 Chevron stencil. The stencil work and stamping complements the paper beautifully.
The outside of the layout is distressed and stamped with the Sketchy & Alphabet Stamps too. The wooden hummingbird was also inked then stamped with the “Sketchy” stamp. Don’t you just love all the textures and dimension that the layers and embellishments add to this layout. Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration. Be sure to stop back again for more wonderful projects.
Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style. Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
