Shell Seekers

One of my very favorite things to scrapbook is summer photos and especially ones at the beach. I just love the clusters of sea shells, using them as my embellishments. This is one of those fun summer layouts that have so much inspiration and really makes you want to get out your summer photos. This beautiful layout was created by Delaina Burns a very talented design team member for Prima Marketing. Stop on by her blog Delaina’s Embellished Memories for more of her outstanding projects.

Delaina started her layout with a few paper strips to the top and bottom of her page, then punching the edge of one of the strips.

She then layered several journal squares or paper squares to crop her photo.

To give it some contrast she added some wood and chipboard with her photo.

Delaina added some flowers and resin pieces to give it some texture, dimension, and color.

To give it the added touches she gave her layout a title, and a few more embellishments such as brads, a flair button, paperclip and bling.
