This darling card designed by Lin, author of The Hearts Hugs and Flowers Blog, reminds me of a warm summer day. Can you picture yourself sitting on an old worn quilt under a big shade tree sipping on a cold glass of lemonade. Welcome to summer!

I love how Lin used embossing to give the illusion of quilting on the gorgeous paper pieced background. Lin used the Hero Arts Clear Stamps Love Jar Set to stamp the mason jar & lemon slice.

This background technique is also a perfect way to use some of our treasured scraps that we seem to collect. :-).
