Don’t you just love the red, cream and black color combo in this card? The fun frames along with the colors really caught my eye while I was visiting the Poetic Artistry blog. I recommend you taking a visit and pop on over to see more creative inspiration from Julee Tilman.
I love how Julee used two different shaped frames to create her card. She stamped a polka-dot background on a rounded rectangle die, Julee then stamped her sentiment over the top. The scalloped frame is stamped in a Strawberry Slush ink and cut with the coordinating Rounded Scallop Frame Die Set. Julee used some paper scraps from Authentique.
A paper piercer to do a little faux stitching was used on the diagonal section. Her flowers are stamped with the Making a Statement set and then cut with the coordinating Loopy Blooms Die Set. She finished off her card with some twine, pearls and liquid pearls. It is Julee’s fine details that really pulled this all together so well.
Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style. Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
Thanks for the visit. Hope you have a wonderful day!
