Jenny Gropp is the fabulous designer of this Bohemian Butterfly Card. I think we are all in the mood for summer. My garden is growing, birds are chirping and yes, I’ve seen butterflies. But, I do make time for card-making 😉 Take a wander over to Jenny’s blog, she has more wonderful projects here on her blog called One Krafty Kat.
Jenny says this about her card “ I think the new Bohemian Bazaar collection from Graphic 45 certainly fits the theme of Summer Colors! I cut the circle base from the IO Circle Shaker Die and ran it through a CB Folder to add some embossing. I added the printed chipboard circle and then used the IO Fancy Butterfly Die in the center of it, popping it with Dimensional silicone to keep the wings curved. I cut the solid butterfly out of yellow for the bottom layer. For the fancy butterfly I positioned the die cut evenly over a flower in the printed paper… that way the colors and the design are some what symmetrical.”
Here’s the inside. I love it when the inside is colorful too!
And a close-up of the butterfly on front:
I hope this project inspires you to create something summery. Have a wonderfully crafty day!
