Now that the holidays are behind us, we all have a few thank you notes to send out. I discovered this adorable notelets gift set on Semsees Blog. I highly recommend stopping by for a visit. You will truly be inspired.
Simonne used one of the stamps from the Thank You Tiles set and made a set of notelets complete with matching box. So sweet!
Simonne used SU Kraft card & SU Whisper White cardstock for the matting and layering. The DP is from the Prima 6×6 ‘Botanical’ paper pad and she distressed everything with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink pad.
Simonne wanted to heat emboss the actual stamped image but didn’t have any brown embossing powder. Being the very talented designer that she is, Simonne used the Distress Ink with clear embossing powder…but you need to work fast! Stamp the image using the Vintage Photo ink, quickly sprinkle it with extra fine clear embossing powder before the ink has a chance to dry, and then heat emboss: What a great tip! I love how Simonne improvised.
To make these sweet vintage roses, Simonne used the Marianne Creatables Chinese Roses die & inked them with the Vintage Photo ink before rolling them. Then she hit the tops of the flowers for a bit more definition.
Who wouldn’t feel the love when they receive a boxed set of thank you cards?
My hope for you is to be fearless when it comes to your creativity, to try new things and most important to have fun.
Thanks for visiting & have a very creative day.
