Can you believe the holidays are right around the corner? I don’t know about you, but I am just not ready… yet. If we keep creating beautiful things for the holidays, it is sure to help, right? Here is a beautiful gift tag that will make any gift a lot more personal. This gorgeous tag was created by Hels Sheridan, a creative designer who has much to share. Be sure to visit her blog Ink On My Fingers; I promise you will be happy you took the time!
Hels used several different colors for the snowman; Milled Lavendar, Broken China, and Stormy Sky Distress Paints. The tag itself was colored with the same Distress Paints and smooshed and spritzed to get a nice washy effect. She then overstamped with a script stamp and Tumbled Glass Distress ink. She added some frosty bits using Glossy Accents and Rock Candy Distress Glitter, giving it such a beautiful sparkle and shimmer.
The word is one of Tim Holtz’s new thinlet dies and was cut from Distress Core-dinations cardstock and adorned with a mini Idea-ology star.
Adding more sparkle, Hels used the snowflake from the Winter Wonder die, frosted it with Pumice Stone Distress Glitter, and popped the number 25 into the middle.
Tinsel and pom pom trims add just the right finishing touches, along with a fancy bow added to the top. The bow started out as a cream ribbon and was dyed with Distress Stain Sprays with some fun dangling jewelry added to the top. What a fabulous tag which will be a highlight of the gift received!
Hope you have a happy holiday season! Thank you for your visit.
