Becki-Adams-header

Hey friends, Becki here. We’re right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. I’ve been busy getting gifts ready for friends, family, neighbors, and teachers. As I was sitting at my desk the other night surrounded by remnants of Christmas projects (and gifts) that I had been creating, I decided to use some of those left over bits and pieces that were laying on my desk and create some tags.

I started with three plain kraft shipping tags. Next, I added some stamping using a woodgrain stamp, plaid stamp, and a Christmas sentiment stamp set, all from Echo Park Paper. Everywhere I stamped I used Versamark ink and gold embossing powder.

I think the gold embossed images stand out perfectly against the black background.

The gold embossing powder made the stamped images stand out. I think it was the perfect addition to these tags.

The lace, the tinsel, and the buttons were all items that I had in my stash. The canvas printed stars are all from the Pink Paislee Yuletide collection.

I love giving my gifts the extra special touch of a handmade tag. What do you do to make gifts for your loved ones extra special?
