Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started crafting: I was born and raised in Poland and moved a couple of years ago to Manchester, England. I always loved being creative and about 6 years ago I started my paper crafting adventure by making cards for family and friends. I’ve been completely addicted to this hobby ever since. During this time, I served as a member of several design teams and have guest designed projects for a number of others. I have been published in numerous craft publications and contributed to several craft related classes. I would describe my style as ‘eclectic’, I love clean and simple with a touch of ink/paint splatters.

Favorite thing to create: Definitely cards are my favourite to create but I also love making home decor, tags, and handmade gift wrappings.

What do you love about cardmaking? I just love being creative. For me, cardmaking is fun and relaxing and my favourite aspect of paper crafting is creating something unique, original, and made with a personal touch.

5 fun facts about yourself:
1. I love riding trains, especially steam trains.
2. I love watching tennis and figure skating, I wanted to be a figure skater as a child because I loved their costumes.
3. I love fresh flowers and making compositions from them.
4. Coffee and croissant is my favourite combination for breakfast.
5. I have graduated from Maritime Academy in Poland.

My absolute favourite technique is watercolouring at the moment and I’m using it almost on every card.

Clean, simple, and elegant is my favourite style. I often try to stick to the “less is more” approach.

I love adding splatters of water, ink, paint, or mists to my projects. Effects are always unpredictable and surprising and that’s what makes them so cool!

My last card was inspired my “Wycinanki” – Polish folk paper cuts. I draw inspiration from everywhere around me.
