We are excited to have Chameleon designers Annette Allen and Ilina Crouse join us today. Welcome Annette and Ilina! These ladies have created cards for us to share with you and full instructions to walk you through their design process.

Would you like to win the Chameleon Pens 5 Pen Earth Tones set?
“Chameleon™ Color Tones Pens are a permanent alcohol ink pen system that enables the user to change the color tone of the ink so one pen produces multiple color tones! The internationally patented system creates simple, seamless blends that are perfect for giving depth and dimension to any artwork.
Ideal for all paper crafts, manga, graphic and fine art needs, the Chameleon Color Tones Pens are alcohol based, refillable and have replaceable nibs. The pens come in two parts: a mixing chamber and an alcohol based marker pen. The double-ended pen has a Japanese SuperSoft brush on one end and a Japanese bullet nib on the other. By inserting either nib into the mixing chamber and infusing with the colorless toning medium, color can be changed at the source. This unique system allows for working from a hint of a tint, to mid tones and back to the original color for seamless blends and colored gradation. Chameleon Color Tones Pens work with other alcohol based marker pens, are non-toxic, low odor and permanent on most surfaces.”
For your chance to win these amazing pens, leave a comment on this blog post telling us how long you have enjoyed paper crafting and how you got started. I can’t wait to hear your stories! The giveaway runs until 6pm EST on Thursday, March 19th.
Last week’s Freebie Friday post was sponsored by us, the Scrapbook Expo team. Thank you to everyone who commented on last week’s blog post! I enjoyed reading all of your comments about what you do to relax. I especially loved the comments where you mentioned that you don’t take a lot of time for yourself and my post helped you to realize that you need to. Everyone needs to take time for themselves even if it is only for a few minutes now and again. And, like many of you, some of my time ‘relaxing’ would stress other people out. I enjoy running with my kids and family even though it tires me out! I also enjoy a good book and a soak in the bath tub!
The lucky winner of the Scrapbook Expo Mystery Box giveaway is …

OMG I would absolutely love to win those amazing pens. Thanks so much for a chance!!!
aww thanks for sharing my card.. yay
I have been scrapbooking and card making 14 years. I knew 1 person that scrapbooked and was curious. A scrapbook store opened in the town I lived. I took a a basic scrapbooking class that was basically a Creative Memories class. I still have the circle cutters but I haven’t used them in forever.
Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Such adorable creations. I just love Annette’s vibrant flowers.
I have been paper crafting for15 years and I got started by a friend that was a Stampin Up demonstrator.
I have never tried any kind of blending pens before but tried them in cool tools class at the grapevine scrapbook expo and they are awesome!! They are on my birthday wish list and would love to win some! I am just starting card making and they would be perfect. Thanks for the chance to win!
I got so excited I gave an incomplete email address AND forgot to tell you I started paper crafting about 17 years ago by watching scrap booking shows on QVC. I did only scrap booking until now when I’ve decided to try card making.
I started card making about 3-4 years ago after attending a Stampin’ UP! party. I love both cards! I’d love to try these pens out! Thanks for the chance!
Beautiful cards and coloring!
Looking forward to scrapbook expo! Great giveaway! Thanks!
These pens look wonderful.
I have been paper crafting for about 8 years. One day while I was in the break room at work a couple of colleagues had brought in some cards they made. I was intrigued. I started out making layouts because I feel it’s important for someone in the family to be the memory keeper. It wasn’t long before I ventured into card making as well.
I fell in love with digital stamps a few years back. Ever since then I make all my own cards. These Chameleon Pens sound great. Thank you for the chance to win.
I got a chance to use these pens at my local scrapbook store..They are 1 in million. Great product.
I’m a NEWBIE to Papercrafting etc. – started about 6 months ago!!!
I would be so honored to try out these Markers!!!
T H A N K S for the Chance to WIN!!! 😉
Would love to try out these new pens, thanks so much for the giveaway & chance to win!
i have been stamping for about 9 years! I was hocked when I took a class at Cloud Nine in Monrovia! We watercolored a scenery stamp and after that I became a papercrafter!
The pens look way cool!
I have been scrapbooking for about 20 years and have A LOT of stuff, but I have stayed away from stamping because I have never liked coloring it in. I would love to find markers that let me make beautiful items easily.
I’ve been paper crafting for about 30 years, but really only got serious about it 2 years ago. My high school home ec teacher opened my heart and mind to the possibilities, and I never forgot that! When my children were small we always had our art supplies out, and Mom made sure there was plenty of paper, scissors, glue, markers, paints and stickers (not to mention the glitter!). Somewhere along the way life and stress got in the way, and my creativity got buried. But now, since I am unable to work anymore, I have plenty of time to let myself imagine and create again! Thank you for the chance to win this fabulous prize!
Maybe Friday the 13th will be good luck for me. I would love to try these pens. The flowers are beautiful – the colors are so bright and clean.
thanks for the chance
I would love to win some of these marker…I am excited to try them…and since I cant purchase them until Lent if over, winnng them wouldn’t be against the rules
I use coloring as therapy, these pens would be so pretty for that! Thank you for the opportunity to win them!
I have been crafting most of my life but started paper crafting about two years ago when my cousin asked me if I would like to go to a card making club so I said yes and that was the start of a wild beast making cards for every moment of one’s life. I dream of designs all the time get up and make cards. When my nephew joined the army I made cards so I can send to him each week while he was at basic training. I tried these pens at the Orlando Expo and love them.
I started paper crafting when I was 12 and have been at it since! I am now going into my 35th year and don’t see myself stopping any time soon! It gives me sanity and a peace that nothing else can provide! I have chronic pain and there are days that the only thing that lessens it is losing myself in my crafts! I get so into creating that I am able to forget, if only for a little while, how much I hurt! I couldn’t survive without crafting!
What a wonderful opportnity! I would love to try these pens on work!
I started scrapbooking about a two years ago, when i was waiting my first baby 🙂 I always thought i can’t do any paper craft ar anything else with my hands, but matternity changed everything right to the opposite side! And i am glad! Scrapbooking is the best experience i’ve had!
I’m not even sure how long I’ve been papercrafting! I would say at least 15 years. I’ve been crafting most of my life. Everything from sewing to basket making. Papercrafts have stayed with me the longest. I think I can blame an early Stampin’ Up party I drove an hour to go to and the fact that the art store I used to manage used to have a demonstrator come in every once in a while. I started with cardmaking and now do both cards and scrapbooking. Thank you for the opportunity to win these pens. I’ve been hesitating venturing into the alcohol pen world! This would be a good start.
I got started last summer after buying a Cricut Explore for because I thought I could use it for work. From there I got into card making and have never looked back!
Starting crafting 7 yrs ago when I got married. After leaving and starting my divorce I found cards at a meetup and never looked back and card maker ever since.
I started with scrapbooking and building a stash. Lately I have been doing cardmaking, which seems more doable for me. And yes, I would love to try the new product!
I started crafting out of the womb, or thats what my mother claims. She tells how she could always find me by following the paper trail. I am 43 and I can now find myself by the paper trail. I went to school and got a degree in history and education but my heart is in the arts. I am trying to be a selling artist to help support my family because of my love of creating I love to create cards, pictures, scrapbooks, and new crafts. But my love of the paper has never left
WooHoo would LOVE to try out these new pens. Oh the possibilities. 🙂 I have been crafting, Scrapebooking and card making for what seems like forever. I Love giving out homemade cards. I would be to cool to recieve these.
I would love to win a set of these pens. I have only been scrapbooking for about a year and a half but It is so relaxing and let’s me get my creativity out. I now have my daughter Scrapbooking and making cards. She and her husband have a mobile vet business and if they have to put a pet down she makes and sends the family a card. I think she would love these pens also. Thanks for the chance to win.
I began scrapbooking in 2005 when my first child was born premature. I was struck by an urgent need to document her life. I made a special connection with crafting once I realized that I have the ‘artist gene’ passed down by my late father who was a professional painter and artist. He always took lots of pictures of the family and created albums with detailed info on the picture backs – scrapbooking and journaling!
My mother was a card maker. She made all her own cards for almost 40yrs. She taught me a lot of what I know. She loved to color. When she passed I inherited her color pencils along with other items. In the mix was about 10 markers. That started me on markers. I don’t have many and plan to get more soon. Would love to have these in my stash. Really like the way they blend. Looks so easy. I think my mother would have loved these.
What a great idea to expand the alcohol marker pens. I would love to use them on both cards and in scrapbook layouts.
I have been card-making for 10 years…I started with my wedding invitations! I wanted something unique and personal. Thanks for the chance to win. It would make a great anniversary present! =)
I have been scrapbooking over 20 years. I started as I thought it was a cool way to preserve photos and memorabilia I have been wanting to try alcohol markers for quite some time and would love to win!.
My daughters got me into scrappbooking and cardmaking after I was retired. Just love to make all my cards and do scrappbooking. Made one of all the pictures of my mother. would love to win a pen. Thanks for offering them.
I started card making about 20 years ago when I was 10 after attending a D.O.T.S. party with my mom and I started scrapbooking after my daughter was born 4 years ago, to use all those pictures that we’ve been taking!
Those pens are awesome along with the cards made with them!
I attended a Stampin’ Up stamp camp about 3 years ago and have been hooked on card making ever since. Thanks for the chance to win!
I’ve been scrapbooking only for a couple of years, and have mostly attended classes that use different products to learn new techniques.
I LOVE the brilliant colors these pens produce and would like a chance at winning them! I’d like to give these a try in making cards!
Thanks for the opportunity!
I would love to try these. My paper crafting began over fifty years ago when my mom showed me how to make paste/ glue with flour and water. We would then pull out the old catalogs. Thanks for the memories.
I would love to win a set of these markers. They look like they’ll be a great tool.
I started card making around 15 years ago, I made thank you cards for my son’s baptism gifts. I was quickly hooked but changes in my life meant I had to give up my beloved hobby for a while. when my daughter was born nearly 6 yrs ago and I was on maternity leave from work I started again and my hobby has grown and grown. I love coloring and would love to win these pens as a start to getting the collection
These are really amazing sounding. I started scrapping in HS …30 years ago. Not much around then and I wrote lots by hand. LOVE pens!
I would love to try these new markers out. It looks like it would be easier to blend with the Chameleon Pens!
I went to my first Stampin’ Up! party in 2000, bought some product…and promptly put it in a drawer. In 2008, I went to my second Stampin’ Up! party and thought, “Is this the same company?” I went home, found the originally purchased product, and found the ink pads were still juicy! I’m been an avid stamper and card maker ever since! Thanks for the give-away. The pens look amazing and perfect for a beginner like me.
Chameleon Pens look so awesome, what an innovative idea. Space and money saving and yet able to do whatever project you want to create with color and depth! It would be wonderful to win some Chameleon Pens.
I forgot the most important part, when and where I learned papercraft. I started papercraft in elementary school I suppose, but for scrapbooking and cardmaking I went to a D.O.T.S/Close To My Heart Party way back in the 90’s and fell in love. I got my kids started making cards right away and I started scrapbooking and card making. I have been sharing my knowledge with my friend because we both have back injuries and are unable to work. It was actually crazy because we were both going to doctors and didn’t know the other was also having trouble, and neither has the same issue. It can be very demeaning not to be able to work so for both of us this is a little bit of therapy and a little bit of growth. I have a full set of Tombow makers from those D.O.T.s days that still work, but this new alcohol marker technique is just calling to me, I would love to learn with Chameleon because I love how easily you can get so many different shades.
This would be a great way to introduce beauty of this product to the cards I make for family, friends and co-workers. I have been making cards for 15 plus years, but lately because of having to start a new page life, I am looking forward to spending more time creating and blessing others.
I would love to try out these amazing pens!! Love how they go from dark to light without changing pens or having to have a heap load of pens to get the same effect. thanks for the chance to win
I would love to win that set of pens. They would be my first set and would be perfect to use with stamps to make cards.
Thanks for the chance to win,
The idea of being able to produce 5 shades of color from one marker & it remain in the same color family sounds fantastic. I’d love the opportunity to try the Chameleon pens! Thanks for the inspirational pictures & videos.
Been eyeing these pens for a while. I started Scrappin 20 years ago but love all crafts. I’m still a little girl when it comes to coloring. I still love it.
I would say I have been crafting about 51 years (I am 53). I got started crafting with the help of my beautiful Mother. She was an artist and put a paintbrush in my hand (little as it was) as soon as I was able to hold it and somewhat understand what to do with it. Thus opening the door to a whole new world that is interesting, exciting, fun, never boring and my favorite hobby . . .crafting! Thank you Mom and the wonderful legacy you left me.
Would love to play with this Chameleon Pens 5 Pen Earth Tones set. It was that purple balloon card that popped out at me on the Scrapbook Expo Facebook page.
I saw these at a crop this weekend. I’d love to try some out.
i have never tried these but they look amazing. I would love to win a set to try.
Still learning techniques of coloring with alcohol markers, but would love the chance to learn more with these.
These pens would be a great way to proceed to the next step in paper crafting! Love to do scrapbook paper craft projects! Haven’t been at it too long but, enjoy getting on Pinterest for creative ideas.
These pens look amazing. I would love to win them!
I have been watching about these pens and they look so cool!!! Would love to play with them and use them
My daughter and I have been making cards for about 6 years. Hers are always more colorful than mine, so I know she’d love to win the chameleon pens! Thanks for a chance to win.
I have been doing paper crafts for over 20 yrs. I mostly make greeting cards for my friends and family. I am part of a group that has been getting together once a month to work on projects, for close to 20 yrs. We love what we call Ladies Night. No children or men are allowed and we have a great time. This is the first time I have seen the video on these pens and they look very interesting. I would love to be able to put such depth into my cards. Thanks for developing such a great new pen.
I have been scrapbooking and making cards for the last 9 years since I became a stay-at-home. I did scrapbooks and jewelry making too before. I also love coloring which is something I still do with my kids. I would love a chance to win these markers to get better at coloring and designing with markers. Thanks for the chance to win!!
I have been scrapbooking since 2006, after going to a Creative Memories party. I have been hooked ever since!
I “entered” the world of scrapbooking/papercrafting kicking and screaming lol. I mean why would you spend all that money when you could just throw photos in a ready-made album?! It started about 8+ years ago needing a special anniversary gift for my parents 50th. I thought I’d send requests to friends and family for photos/letters/page contributions and just “throw them together” in an album. Well, I borrowed a few tools… cutters, shape-makers; got some supplies like paper and adhesive from the dollar store. A few more consumables from a friend who was with one of the home party paper companies… And the rest, as they say was history lol. Had to use those left-over supplies and needed tools to go with ’em . Geesh lol. Now I make all kinds of papercrafts, cards, 3D projects, decor, albums… 🙂
Seems like I’ve been papercrafting forever!! Thanks for this chance
WOW! I have been card making for almost 10 yrs. Can’t think of anything I would rather be doing. Thanks for the opportunity to win some of these great pens.
My scrapbooking adventures started because I got a new camera, and with it I was taking so many photos, but not knowing what I should do with them. My daughter had just found this new past time of scrapbooking, and invited me to go with her to a “crop”. I was immediately hooked, and now had an outlet to be creative with all those photos on my camera. This was 15 years, and 5 grandchildren later, what a delightful ride it has been.
I’ve been stamping for almost 30 years on and off depending on family and jobs. Since I’ve retired I’m really getting to enjoy creating cards with various techniques. Thanks for the demo video of the Chamelon pens- I had heard of them but seeing is better! I would greating enjoy using them!
I have one set of Chameleon Pens, the primary colors. They are by far the best set of pens I have ever used. They color exactly as advertised. Yes yes yes I would love to have another set. Thanks for such a great opportunity.
I started with cardmaking about 15 years ago. My niece had a Close To My Heart party and I was hooked. We had a group of us that met once a month for many years and that’s when I found scrapbooking was so much fun. Of course things change, I retired and moved away, but I still do scrapbook and make cards. Love learning new things. Thanks for a chance to win, love the cards.
I have been card making for several years, first for just family and friends and then 3 years ago I learned about Opertion Write Home and I am now a faithful volunteer card maker for that organization and our troops. I would love to win a set of these pens-my cards would improve greatly with them.
Been paper crafting in one form or another for longer than I can remember! Mu earliest memory was at 5 or so making little Easter cards for my mom and grandma.
Awesome pens – thanks for a chance to win.

I have been doing all kinds of Art since high school, even went to an art school when I lived in Houston, but really didn’t get into my crafts until about 10 years ago. I love doing all different things. I just watched the video on these pens and out of all the kinds of markers I have used, these have to be the coolest. I wish I had them back in school, I probably would have gotten straight A’s. 🙂 These pens look like they will be great for vintage items. Can’t wait to get one and see where it will take me.
I have been papercrafting for 2 years . I live in a small town who stil has craft fairs. (There is one smallcraft store 20 minutes a way. Then bigger stores are 45 minutes away). One year, I decide to go. There I saw I met a lady who made cards and other papercrafts. I started talking to her and found out she did a card class once a month, went and was hooked. I have looked and looked at these pens on line! Would love to have a set.
I started about 30 years ago. My photos had been stored in those books with the glue and clear cover sheets. My pictures began to turn yellow and fall out of the books. So, I removed every picture, re-organized them chronologically, and began scrapbooking them using acid-free papers and glue. Scrapbooking supplies have become much more numerous since those early days!
I am a marker kinda girl.I love making colorful cards and pages. I can’t wait to try these markers. They look like so much fun to play with!
I have been scrap booking life events for about 7 years. It is my zen time in a very busy life. Last year I starting making cards. I love trying new techniques!
I started making cards in 1990 and picked up scrapbooking in 2000 when my first grandchild was born. I also cross stitch, since 1977 and have dabbled in oil and acrylic painting since childhood. I love anything crafty that is hands-on, but the cardmakers today really knock my socks off! The imagination and talent of all of these people – wow, if these ladies and gentlemen could rule the world, wouldn’t it be a beautiful, and safe place!!!
I just retired after working over 30 years and being a single parent the majority of those years. It’s now my time to let my own inner child out to play. Winning these pens would be a great way to start building my “toy” supplies. Looking forward to meeting new people and learning new ways to.play at the Expo on Thursday. Can’t wait!
I have been papercrafting in one form or another for about 25 years. My mother had died & I was looking for a unique way to save my pictures h memories! A friend took me to a Creative Memories party & the rest is history!
Those pens look so interesting. I’d love a chance to win a few to try them out!
I love anything to do with paper, pencil, marker, glue, embellishments, stamps, etc. I started making greeting cards about 3 years ago and keep looking for products and techniques that improve my cards. These markers are a great find!.
What a great IDEA!!! Instead of hunting around for many pens to create the “right” shading… they are all in one place! I would love to try that out!! (free is even better!!)
These pens look like SO much fun. I have been crafting since I was about 4 (thanks to my wonderful big sister who made sure I had lots of exposure to crafts!). I have always been interested in photographs. 1993 was when I saw my first “home” type show demonstrating Creative Keepsakes. That was the point that I became aware of “Acid Free” and all of the other things to avoid with pictures. In 1996, I was at the local Wal-mart looking at photo albums. There was another lady there and for some reason I looked at her and commented that I wished I had never heard of acid free! She just happened to be a Creative Keepsakes representative and invited me to her next crop. That was it! I was hooked. It is the most wonderful craft/hobby I have ever been involved with. Now I am a paper & supply hoarder! I also enjoy making cards and hand made books. Thank you so much for the chance to win some of these amazing pens!
I love scrapbooking! I especially love making scrap books of my grand kids. However, as they grow their parents are taking less and less photo, and I find myself with time s when I have not photos to scrap. So I have begun to do more and more card making and using stamps which require coloring. I am dying to own a set of chameleon pens. They sound so versatile and cool.
These pens look like they would be fun to work with. I would love the opportunity to win some to try out.
Well…I was a totally addicted digital scrapbooker several years ago, for a good 5 or 6 years (at least) but life got busy and I stopped doing scrapbooking for the most part…just a little project here or there. I just started making cards…3-4 weeks ago when I got some of my sister-in-law’s paper stash after she died. I thought I’d just make a few and it rapidly snowballed to wanting to make them all the time. Granted I’m starting out slow doing any of the “cool” things, cause I have to build up my supplies on a fixed income…but I’m slowly starting to learn new things and eventually I’ll be making the really “cool” cards, with all my new toys! :-)) I’m just starting to learn to color my stamps…gotta use water color pencils or my memento ink right now as that’s all I have, but eventually I’ll get some sort of marker set. ;-))
I have been paper crafting for several years. I am always trying to learn new techniques.
I started scrapbooking over 10 years ago of my grandchildren..I now also make cards…
I so want to start using Chameleon markers! sure would love to win!!
Thanks for the giveaway….
I have only been paper crafting for about 6 years. This was due to a demonstrator holding a card making class. I have really enjoyed it and of course do not have many supplies so winning this would be very much appreciated and well used. God Bless you for having this lovely drawing. I have never used these, so would really enjoy them.
Cool pens! Thanks for a fab giveaway!

I can’t wait for the weekends to do some scrapping…. I usually stay up until 3:30 a.m. Kids are grown so I get to sleep in….
Genus cards!!! Love the Chamelin pens!!
OMG, I have not seen these pens before but they look wonderful. I have been doing paper crafting and mixed media for about 10 years and seem to have a pen/marker addiction. Thanks for the opportunity to win
I have been an artist and crafter my entire life but have really gotten into papercrafting about the last ten years! Though I love many types of crafts scrapbooking and card making brings me much joy! Though I can never have enough markers the Chameleon markers are exceptional and I would love to have them!
I have been a crafter most of my life but got into card making about 15 years ago when I happened upon a stamp store and haven’t looked back. These pens look so interesting and would love the opportunity to try them out.
I could use a set of the tones. I’m always working with human stamped images.
I have just started to use pens to color on my cards and in my scrapbooking pages. I would love to try these!
Thanks for a chance to win these. I have some alcohol markers and love coloring with them. These are an interesting product and can’t wait to see them at SE in Milwaukee next month.
Thanks for a chance to win! Those pens look so bright and cheerful.
I would love to try the Chameleon pens! I would have to say my first papercrafting was making cootie catchers when I was in grade school! lol. I have always loved origami. I started scrapping in 1993 and moved into cardmaking and mixed media.
I have been scrapping for ever it seems. I love the new techniques we have these days and especially the chameleon pens. These would give any lucky winner a great way to enhance their pages.
My sister got me interested in scrapbooking and card making. I enjoy making cards with different fabrics, papers and unusual ephemera. These chameleon pens seem like they would be enjoyable to work with as well as an excellent product. I would love to give them a try.
The pens look awesome! I’d be very excited to win the prize you are sharing with someone!
I have loved paper crafting even as a kid. I started stamping and cardmaking when my daughter was in preschool, and she is 32 now!
I have been paper crafting for a few years…. have loved art my whole life… would love to win a set of these pens… they look awesome… thanks for the chance
I started papercrafting about eight years ago…..in anticipation of the birth of my first grandchild. Now, as an “experienced grandma and paper crafter”, I look forward to trying new products. Chameleon pens seem like the perfect product for me. Thanks for the chance to win .
I love to shade my artwork and would love to try your Chameleon pens. Please enter my name. Barbara
I started scrapbooking while I was stationed in the Army in San Antonio, Tx. This was in 1989. Imagine my surprise (and delight!) when I was reintroduced to it upon my discharge in California. I have always loved the colors, the techniques, and all the new products used to create pages and/or cards. The Chameleon pens look like the perfect medium I would love to work with. Am very excited about a chanced to win this set! Thanks for the opportunity!!
I have been researching these markers for a few months now and absolutely love how they work! I have been making cards for the past several years and have been scrapbooking for longer than this. Would love to add these markers to my “tool” box!
I would love to try these. They look like they would be easy and beautiful, just what I need.
I started about 1 to 1 1/2 year ago after being laid off by work and it started with mini albums then went to card making. For me I find that it takes the stress away and enjoy watching others when I give them a card or an album.
I began making cards just for my own use, to include with a gift or to encourage a friend that was having a hard time. I received so many complements on my cards that I began to make them for sale at boutiques and craft shows. I would love to have a chance to use these Chameleon pens. Thanks for the opportunity!
I began card making 17 years ago, at first I just got curious and bought software for it, played with that for a little while and then began to create my own. I was hooked with HGTV when it was not only about buying and selling real state, but about crafting (I still like HGTV but I really miss the crafting side of it) and learn a lot about paper crafting from it. I have made most of my daughter’s birthday parties invitations. It is very nice when a mom that you just met tells you “You should make a business out of this”. It is my hobby, my relaxation, one of my passions.
I started scrapbooking about 8 years ago when I saw a neighbor working on hers! I then progressed to cards. I work full time so do as much as I can around my schedule. Surely not as much as I would like to or need!!!!
I began making cards about 1 1/2 years ago at my church when we gathered to make Christmas cards for the soldiers. We had people to come in and show us some we could make and then we all went to work making cards and made approximately 250 cards that day. I was hooked and have been making cards ever since. I can not wait to try the new Chameleon Pens. Thanks for the chance to win!
I started scrapbooking after I broke my foot in 2007. It was winter anyway and I inherited a bunch of antique family photos. My hobby exploded from there into cardmaking and mixed media. I love to use alcohol markers.
I have been stamping and paper crafting since I was a little girl. I would love to win these amazing looking markers to color in my stamped artwork!
I started papercrafting about 5 years ago after retiring. I studied art and nursing in college. Now that I have the time to “play” I am astounded by all of the innovating products fo paper crafting and mixed media. I would love to own a set of the chameleon pens. They look awesome!
Im dying to try these.
I got started in papercrafting when I wanted a certain kind of card and could not find it so I made it!
Am very new to card making. Love the chameleon pens and would surely welcome them. They definitely make color simple
Pens sound very exciting. Would love a chance to try them!
I started scrap booking many years ago just as a helpmate to a friend who was doing a retirement book for a co-worker. I was strong and resisted my own involvement in this craft for several years. But it has found me, I’ve succumbed and I now have a Cricut Explore and am slowly building and stocking a craft room. A set of these pens would be an awesome addition to this new adventure. Thank you for the opportunity.
Have been paper crafting about 15 years. Got introduced to it at one of my daughter’s Girl Scout meetings through a craft they did! I’m not as great at it as some others are but I enjoy paper crafting, I find it very relaxing. These pens would give me a new tool to try! They would definitely “take it up” a notch! Thank you for the opportunity.

I have done paper crafting for about 3 years now and keep seeing these great pens online and would love to add them to my collection.
I started scrapbooking 15 years ago. I went to a library and this lady was going through a magazine that looked super interesting and I asked her if I could get the name of it. She gave it time and said, “enjoy it sweetie.”
I looked at it and ordered a bunch of stuff and Google everything I could to find out what to do. In my research I found the scrapbook expo and I have been going ever since. When I’m lucky enough I get to go to 3 expos a year! Which is fantastic!!! I’ve volunteered, worked, been a student and a shopper at the expo ever since. I absolutely Love and enjoy scrapbooking about my kids. It’s the Best!!
Can’t wait for the Expo in Anaheim…
I’ve been stamping over 15 years. I got started when a friend invited me to a stamp party. I would love to win a set of these unique pens.
I would love a chance to win the pen set. I have been interested in them since they first came out.
Heard wonderful things about these markers! I have been doing artistic and crafting things my whole life but I have only been making cards for little over a year. I got started when I saw a YouTube video and I have been in love with it every since!
I remember attending one of my first Stampin Up parties over 15 years ago and when I got home I was so excited and my exact words to my husband were…” honey, I am going to make all of our cards – we will never have to buy another card again – I am going to save us so much money” !!! I know anyone reading this now is laughing hysterically!!! Even though I was way off base about the financial aspect of this hobby, it has brought me so much joy and sometimes therapy that you can’t put a price tag on!!!! Love these Chameleon markers, they are so cool!
Wow – what a generous offer, thanks so much for the opportunity!
I am a natural crafter. That is just how my brain works. So it made sense that I got completely hooked 25 years ago helping a friend out by hosting a Stampin’ Up! party.
I started paper crafting about 5 years ago. I started scrapbooking and then moved on to cardmaking. I love making cards by hand for my friends and relatives. I do have some alcohol markers, but don’t use them much because I don’t know how to shade them. I would love to try out these new pens. I think maybe I would then be able to shade perfectly. Thank you for this generous give away.
I started papercrafting about 6 years ago and never looked back. I moved through layouts to cards and now all kinds of mixed media. The way I got started was I was having lunch with my BFF and I saw this beautiful store and had to go see what was inside. To say I was overwhelmed would be an understatement. I only bought a distresser by Heidi Swapp. I went back to the store 2-3 times s week for 4 years until it closed. It was my favorite place to be. I miss that store and all the great people that worked there!!! Anyway thanks for the chance to win these awesome pens. I have been wanting to get a few to try but was really nervous about it. After all the great videos, im ready!!!!
I have been cardmaking and paper crafting since I was about 13 years old. My mom had the most beautiful stamps and she introduced me to embossing, back when there was only black, silver and gold embossing powder, and I instantly fell in love!! Now I have grown to have quite the stamp collection. But I have always continued to color to color. I’ve been thrilled that coloring has come into card making. I saw a couple videos on these pens when they were 1st launched and would love a new set to play with. Thank you for all the fun ideas and giveaways Jen!!!
I started papercrafts with making cards 21 years ago!!! I still love it!!! I’ve been looking at the Chameleon Pens for awhile now and would love to try them out!! Thanks for the chance!! 🙂
I was introduced to card making by one of my daughters about 15 years ago. One of her friends was just starting out as a Stampin Up demonstrater a and wanted to help her so she had a party and I’ve been card king ever since. I would love to try the Chameleon Pens since I really struggle with other alcohol markers, the Chameleon Pens look like they would be so much easier for me to use.
My love for paper crafting goes all the way back to when I was a Girl Scout. I enjoyed all the paper crafts our Troop leaders shared with us to complete a badge or give as a gift to our parents. In college I tried my hand at calligraphy when making my own greeting cards. When I became a mom I expanded my paper crafting to include scrapbooking and mini albums and used the design and color techniques I had learned as a Wilton Cake Decorating Instructor. One way or another, I just have to create and craft regularly because of the childlike joy it gives me! Nowadays I find myself paper crafting while my college age daughter does homework- and when she has free time she joins me in making cards, etc. I love that crafting is something that is easily shared with others.
I have been crafting for years but really got into card making after I lost my husband to cancer. It gave me something to do to fill my days and quickly became an obsession. Just recently tried the markers at the Expo in Grapevine. Loved them!
I think these pens would make a fabulous addition to my “stash”. There is no doubt in my mind that I would use them a lot.
wow I have been a crafter most of my life ,but card making started when I attended a class in florida with my sisiter and then a stamp camp with a group of friends at home and was hooked-would love a chance to wim the Chameleon Pens!
I got started paper crafting when I found out I was going to be a grandmother. That was almost 18 years ago. She’s about to start college. There are 3 more all girls, so you can imagine how much crafting we do. These pens are the perfect fit for what we do. The girls love making everything their own, right down to coloring it themselves. I can’t begin to tell you how many colored pencils and ink and brushes we have. I read the article to them and they all said enter the contest. So here I am. Thank you for the opportunity.
I have ALWAYS been a crafty person even when I was very young but I started paper crating specifically when a friend of mine and her daughter had a home demonstration show for stamping in 1998. Now, 17 years later, I enjoy paper crafting and scrapbooking with my own daughters. We have been to the Duluth, GA Scrapbook EXPO at least the last 5 years and love it!
I started paper crafting a little over 6 years ago when I moved to CO and a new co-worker invited me to a party. I loved it! I can’t wait to see these pens in person!
Wonderful cards, love the colors! I started in the late 90’s when at a Avon Open House were another vendor was there showing scrapbooking. I love it and now do mostly cards. TFS.
I have been scrapbooking since 2004 when my first child was about 9 months old and he’s going to be 12 this year. Time sure flies fast and I’m so grateful for this hobby and that I’m able to capture the past few years in my scrapbooks. Thanks for the chance.
I started cardmaking about 18 years ago – one of my best friends decided to become a Stampin’ Up demonstrator and started a monthly club to generate sales/interest. She needed one more person to fill the club limit she had set, and asked me to join. Years later, I still love Stampin’ Up products but have a wide collection from suppliers everywhere, and love setting up “cardmaking weekends” with family members, we all get together and spend the whole weekend making cards, scrapbooking, or whatever someone decides they want to make.
Love the projects and the Chameleon pen look like fun.
My older sister from CA was the person responsible for getting me into paper crafting at least six years ago. I’ve never looked back, and I treasure every minute I spend creating something out of paper. The Chameleon pens look like an answer to a girl’s prayers.
Would love to try these out! They look awesome!
I started 2 years ago with my mom. I wanted something for us both to do together and we are both creative. So we started taking classes and now we switch off from her house to mine to make cards! These pens seem amazing and I would love to be considered.
I have been paper crafting for about 15 years. I started off making collages that then started to transform into phot albums. The pens look so much easier than some of the other brands out there.
I’ve been playing with paper most my life but got seriously into paper craft a couple years ago. These markers look like allot of fun!
Wow! these are amazing!!! I’ve been watching all the videos…….would love to color with these!
I don’t even know how long I’ve been scrapbooking. I started card-making with my supervisor at least 6 years ago. I started scrapbooking about 2-3 years later. Sometimes it seems like it’s been several more years by all the supplies I’ve accumulated. I work full-time, so there’s never enough time to scrap, but I make sure to make time to make birthday cards, at least. Oh, if only I could figure out how to do this full-time and get paid at least as much as I do now :'(
I’ve been making cards for about 6-7 years. Recently I just got into scrapbooking and I’m obsessed! Love these markers you’ve showcased. They look like they’ll be great for any project!
I’ve been crafting for about 20 years, give or take. We have a very creative family so I started young. I love pens and markers and would love to have an opportunity to win a set! Thanks very much for the chance!
I’ve been paper crafting since I was a little girl. Started out with creating paper dolls and designing dresses for them, to designing photo album pages in Junior high, to embellishing planner pages. My latest addiction is making cards.
I started crafting when I was in grade school., so it’s been roughly 46 years. Yikes that’s a lot of years! I loved to draw, color, paint, cut and paste. My favorite time was holidays, but creating gifts for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day were the most fun!
Thank you for the chance to win. I have been scrapbooking for 12 years. It all started we it a Stampin Up party and a rubber stamp. I can’t believe how much the collection has grown and how much the industry has changed.
Love the cards you made! I have been scrapbooking for several years but still feel like a beginner. I have never tried stamping but these cards are so cute I want to try. I would love a set of these pens to start my next adventure into papercraft!
I have tried these pens and they are awesome. I have wanted a set for some time but can’t afford it. Good luck to everyone!
I have been crafting all my life, but really got into mixed media and many of the more advanced techniques over the past couple years…and I am having the time of my life! My crafting friend and I just returned from the Scrapbook Expo in Orlando where we saw these amazing pens at work in a demo. Truly amazing! My friend bought a set of the Chameleons, but I have not gotten there yet since I just spent a fortune on the entire Spectrum Noir. However, I believe having both would be a huge ’embellishment’ to my tools. I would love to see what I can do using both Spectrum Noir and Chameleon together!!!
I’ve been paper crafting for approximately 22 years! I’m a teacher and put memory books together every year for the kids! (Up to 21 kids per year!) I taught my girl scout troop scrapbooking and card making. We sent cards to the military overseas! Those markers are really cool, love the look of them and what they can do! Would love to win a set!
I started when I was very young. My dad worked at a paper mill. There was always lots of colored paper around to play with. So much fun!
Wow…I’ve been playing with paper, tape, and scissors, and coloring since I was 4 or 5! I used to get into so much trouble for “snipples” left lying around, scissors missing from the drawer, and always using up all the tape. 🙂 I got into “modern day” papercrafting when visiting family in California (from the Midwest) and being invited to a stamp party. It started with stamping & has snowballed from there! 😀 I love all sorts of crafting, so it was an easy sell. 🙂
Just love the look of these new markers! So Bright!!! Thanks for the opportunity to win them!
Omg these look amazing!!! I have been crafting for about 8 years now started out with scrapbooks. But I love creating my own cards & much more.
My mom was involved in her craft group at church and I would go to their sales all the time and thought I could do that myself. I think I got into papercrafting when my first nephew was born, 17 years ago. I have made cards for the whole family ever since. I can’t imagine buying a card. lol Thanks for the chance to win these awesome pens.
I’ve been paper crafting (mostly scrapbooking but other stuff too) for over 21 years! I went to a Creative memories class and got hooked on preserving memories and it spiraled from there!
I have been paper crafting for quite a while. However in 2002 when I had bi-lateral knee replacement I would be up for hours working on my paper crafts such as tea bag folding, card making various art designs. I really love how the flow of the Chameleon pens are. I can see myself working on various projects and art work. These pens are would put a ‘Pop’ into your work. Thank you for the opportunity to enter.
I have been paper crafting for over 15 years in all different forms. Card making has definitely become my favorite in recent years and most recently stamping has become a passion of mine. My mom is the one who introduced to me to paper crafting and so many other types of crafts as well. She is the craft queen and has taught me so much!
A yoga pal got me into scrapbooking almost ten years ago. I am also a quilter, and together we made a small wedding album for a lovely couple who were also yoga instructors. I used gorgeous home dec scraps to crazy-quilt a cover for the album, and even carved a stamp with the symbol for Om, heated it, and heat-embossed one of the patches, a gorgeous blue velvet.
I prefer cardmaking and altered art now, and the explosion of art supplies, styles, and imaginative sharing at present just thrills me and makes for endless inspiration.
I would love to play with these pens! And I love those cards!
I love the thought of these. Make life easier. Thanks for sharing and the chance to win!
My love for papercrafting began with scrapbooking around 20 years ago when I was invited to a Creative Memories party. I fell in love with the idea of preserving memories and pictures. Then a friend introduced me to Stampin’ Up! and I never looked back. I love coloring, stamping and cutting almost everything I can get my hands on!
oh, I have been wanting these pens so badly!,
I’ve been papercrafting for about 20 years. I became a grandma and everything that baby did was adorable so it was natural to start a scrapbook! 40+ scrapbooks later I’m still cutting, gluing, and cropping!
I have been paper crafting for 5 years. But I have been buying and hording supplies and really making paper crafting my main form of relaxation for 2 years. My good friend came to visit me from 1,200 miles away and she brought all of her supplies with her. We spend 14 days together crafting and she got me hooked!
I started in 2008. it started with wanting to make only ONE scrapbook for my niece & nephews of our Disney trip. My BFF was paper crafting for many years so she initially helped me shop for basic supplies that I would need. This one book has turned into a large scraproom in my basement that I share with my friends for our monthly scrap & card making dates!
I went to my first Stampin’ Up! party around 2005, but didn’t really get into card making until 2007, when another friend invited me to her party. I really enjoy creating hand crafted greeting cards, and would love to try the Chameleon Color Tone Pens!
Began cardmaking 2 years ago when I was tired of scrapbooking. Operation Write Home caught my attention and I have been trying new techniques ever since. I love it. These pens look fun! I hope they are as easy to use as they look! Thank you for the opportunity!
I have been making cards for many years but only recently have gotten to feeling accomplished at it. I love personalizing the card to the recipient, and feel like it is giving an additional gift. I love the look on someone’s face when the card hits home for them. I have recently been learning about digital stamping and feel like these pens would be ideal for someone just learning markers. Thank you for this chance!
These look like so much fun! I’d love to win the set!
I started paper crafting 15-20 years ago through a friend who was a home party consultant for scrapbooking. My first couple of times I was not convinced, but one day it just stuck. Since then I have also done stamping and cardmaking and have surprised myself at what I can accomplish! Loads of fun, too.
I’m a new crafter and would love to try out these pens !!
Thanks for the chance to win this pen set! I started paper crafting in 2004 the first wedding anniversary is paper so I created a wedding scrapbook for my daughter.
I’m a rookie at crafting! I just started 2 months ago when my husband bought me the Cricut Explore. I was telling him I wanted to start scrapbooking to chronicle our new life together because we’re newlyweds. So, he surprised me with the Cricut Explore! And so my crafting journey begins.
Hi! I started card making 1 year ago, and I began with scrapbooking only 3 months ago. But I think it’s never too late to find your passions! 🙂 Sorry for my bad english 😀
I started scrapbooking about 20 years ago and then about 15 years ago started stamping and cardmaking and have been hooked ever since. I love trying new things and would be really excited to try out these pens. Thank you for the chance to win them!
My sister-in-law introduced me to scrapbooking when I was pregnant with my son, now 17. So, about 18 years! I was hooked from the very beginning. Of course, my first album pages were horrible, but they still preserved the memories. My favorite page from my son’s first year was a once a month shot of him in the tub, private parts covered, of course! I got all 12 months on a double page spread, with simple embellishments. It was so exciting to see him grow from month to month. I always show this page to mom’s-to-be and encourage them scrapbook their child’s life. Scrapbooking helps you to remember all those little things that are so special more than video or phone pics could ever do.
The hedgehog card is adorable. The Chameleon pens look like fun, hope to try one out some time. I have been doing paper crafts of one kind or another all of my life (50+ years). It began with making cardboard houses and furniture for my Barbie dolls. I have done quilling and scrapbooking for decades, started making cards seriously about six years ago.
I was introduced to scrapbooking about 6 years ago by a co-worker. Next thing I know I am making cards, banners, canvases, paper dolls, even tags and buttons. I love everything about paper crafting and love to let my creative juices flow. I never get bored as there is always something knew to learn. XOXO
I actually started paper crafting with paper dolls when I was quite young. After RL took over, I became involved with Stampin’ Up! in the early 90’s, then scrapbooking in 1998 and finally digital scrapbooking and hybrid crafts in 2010. I still love to play with paper, scissors and glue (with a touch of glitter!!). Thanks for the chance to win!
I’ve been scrapbooking and card making for the last 10 years. I met another mom that was very creative & crafty. She taught me the basics and inspired me. She took me to my first Scrapbook Expo in SD. I’ve been hooked ever since. Thx for a chance to win!
I have never heard of this brand of pens and I would love a chance to win them so I can create beautiful cards!!
Those pens seem awesome! Thank you for the chance to win.
I love the effect of the Chameleon pens. Would love to try them!
Those pens are great! Makes coloring/shading so easy!
About 30 years ago, me and a friend were intrigued by the cutesy rubber stamps we were seeing start to come out in the market. We both sold office supplies door to door at the time and we decided to open our own little rubber stamp business. I got all crafty at that point but there were no classes to be found in our area or instructions on how to create the beautiful cards we see today. Computers weren’t on the market yet so there was no Google. 🙂 The business dissolved and I lost interest for awhile. In the last few years, I started getting interested again and it has just taken off from there. Now I can’t get enough!
Wonderfully beautiful pens! I started scrapbooking and card making about 15 years ago when my husband retired from the USAF and I could finally settle down in one spot and the kids were out and away. Love card making and scrapping my photos from our 45 years of marriage. I make cards for every occasion and love new looks. This look is a keeper!
I’m 62 & always crafted but started papercrafting over 30 yrs ago & love it! A lady in Peru wanted to learn so I brought her supplies & had a craft day with her & others to help them learn & earn $ after the 8.0 quake in 200. They are still enjoying it. I’d love to win this set as coloring is my joy/relaxation!
I am enjoying my time at the Scrapbook Expo in Anaheim. I would love to win these pens!
I scrapbook every weekend, as well as everyday during the week. I have found it to be good therapy for me while dealing with the emotional turmoil of being a victim of crime. I have undergone counselling to also help, but scrapbooking has been my main outlet and saviour. I would like to wish everyone who enters Good Luck.
this would be a great way for me to start doing some real coloring on images, thank you.
I would love to try these pens out! They are so pretty!
Those cards are so cute!! LOVE those markers too, so bright and vibrant!
I have been scrapping since my son was a baby – I really wanted to keep those precious memories! I have found this hobby to be an endless source of pleasure and satisfaction – there is always something new to learn! Now I scrap pix of my grands, and while I wish sometimes my son’s pages were designed as well, I am also glad I have learned more and more so that I can give the memories their “due” .
