Welcome to another Freebie Friday! I’m not sure how we are already at the end of July – if your summer has been like mine, the summer days have really been flying by! I love the more laid back schedule of summer and it seems a little easier to snatch some creative time. At Weekly Scrapper we love bringing our readers tips and techniques to make your crafting time more enjoyable, productive, and just plain fun! One of the ways we like to bring your inspiration is through our Tip of the Day videos, which we showcase each Monday through Friday. These videos contain techniques and tricks from top designers and instructors and can be viewed right here on Weekly Scrapper and also on our YouTube channel.
We would love to hear about what types of techniques you are interesting in having featured, and which type of tips you find the most inspiring. To thank you for sharing your ideas, we’ll select one of your comments to receive TWO FREE PASSES for the Scrapbook Expo show of your choice.
Here are four of our top-viewed tips, starting with Heidi Swapp sharing how fun and easy it is to work with mini stencils:
You are also sure to love seeing Liz from BoBunny share a step-by-step tutorial on how to use stickable stencils and glitter paste to help you create your next project:
I love working with Core’dinations ColorCore cardstock and was excited to watch Rachel with Core’dinations demonstrate how to deboss with embossing folders.
Oh, I could go on sharing these great techniques, but I’d better stop with just one more. Here we have Dyan Reaveley with Ranger sharing tips on how to create your own beautifully inked backgrounds.
Make sure to comment and let us know what inspires you, and what you would like to see covered in upcoming Tips of the Day! Your comment will be entered to win two free passes to a Scrapbook Expo of your choice.

I get inspiration through all of the blogs that I visit every day. I see an idea and then alter it to fit my taste or the occasion. I seldom watch the videos. If there is some verbal explanation with the post and a picture I can usually figure out how it was done. If it is too involved I will watch the video.
thanks.
I love all the inspiration that I find on FB, different blogs and pinterest. Love seeing all the wonderful creations using all the new products and techniques. Would love to win some tickets to the expo. Planning on going to Schaumburg next month.
what inspires me… attending shows and seeing all the fabulous samples!
I am so glad you shared these videos today. I don’t know a lot about stencils and using the different mediums. I would like to learn more about stencils. I heard of paste mediums that have beads, glitter, or sand in them. I would like to learn how you use them. Edwina brown
I get inspiration from all my craft pages on Facebook and the craft group I belong to. I also love your videos and Tip of the Day and also from Pinterest. It’s my dream to one day attend a Scrapbook Expo!
I have only been crafting for a short time. I love the inspiration on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram. Your videos are great and I love learning new techniques. I haven’t had an opportunity to go to an expo but would love to.
I love to see the tips of the day. They are just the right length and are filled with instructions. The ones I like the most are different ways to use things already in most people’s stash. This helps to renew creativity with ideas I hadn’t thought of.
I love to see all your demo’s and tips because they inspire me to create new things. I would love to see more inking and blending tips and also layered cards. Thanks for a chance to win!
I am inspired to see all new techniques that I can incorporate into my projects. I love the mini stencils and look forward to purchasing them. I come from a big family so I always have photos to scrap. Keep the tips coming.
I love all the videos and I’m learning so much. I am a relative newbie, but enjoy watching almost anything! Sometimes on videos or instructions for card making they don’t give exact measurements to make a cut. I would love to see if there’s a way to tell. Any ideas? Would love to go to a Scrapbook Expo, as I’ve never been to one.
I got inspirations by my heart, feeling and my two angels. I laid out all materials on the floor, then started the magical and relaxing journey of imagination and expression. I especially love to scrapbook with my 6-year-old and 8-year-old daughters, who always came up with amazing, sometimes crazy ideas. Scrapbooking time with my two little angels brings me lot of inspirations and precious moments.
I love scrapbooking I have been doing it for 10+ years and it’s so fun!!
Life inspires me, seeing different things outside. People, animals & children. The world is a beautiful place !!!
What inspires me is daily life it self to create a long lasting memory of anything I created . It could have been a quick glance of a picture,a friend or words spoken to me. Nothing is ever the same . Inspiration is everywhere. I would like to see is IF you don’t have a particular tool what else can you use?
I really find as I get older the peace I get from papercrafting is my yoga lol. I love seeing different techniques and trying them out some are for me others may not be but why not give it a chance ! I am going to attend my first expo and am looking forward to new tips and tools that are available for me to try my hand at.
I try to find inspiration everywhere. I love to take a class or find something fun to do online. The best part is when a group of us get together to make something new and inspire each other as we share our ideas on making a simple project our own and just that much better because of it.
I get inspired when I learn a new technique from going to the different craft shows like the Scrapbook Expo. I would love to learn the best ways to cut my patterened papers so there is the least amount of waste.
Looking forward to the 4th year at the Scrapbook Expo in Denver CO!!! Counting down the days…….
I would like to see more tips about Copic markers and any of those type of markers. I am not very brave about trying new things until I have seen them used in a tutorial.
Lately I have used Pinterest. The ideas are amazing and you can search by number of pictures you want this use, themes, or even products! In the past I have cut ideas out of old magazines and stored them in the old style photo albums. Those things are picture killers so you might as well put them to good use for idea organization instead! Thanks for your weekly inspiration-love everything you post!
I have loved all the inspiration I have found on this site and that it is for all types of paper crafting. I’ve learned so many new techniques and am inspired each time I visit, I can’t wait til the nextr time.
I really enjoyed the recent post about vacations. I’m sure I’m like a lot of folks with more than a few vacation photos needing to be attached to exciting layouts and actually put into albums .
Beautiful collection would love to win it
