went to my first Expo in Schaumburg last week. I only shopped this year hope to attend again next year and do some make and takes. I’d love to take a class as well. I think I have convinced my sister to go. We are thinking of going to Milwaukee and/or Schaumburg next year. It is about the same length trip for us.

Wow! I’m so glad I logged onto Facebook a few days ago and found some friends who had “liked” Scrapbook Expo. Did a search and found there is one coming up next month. I signed up for a workshop and am attending with my roommate. Now I find your “Mystery Box” offer whilst exploring the website (after spending most of the day watching your YouTube videos and reading every page of the website). The blog post had some great ideas that I’m definitely going to try. So much fun! So even if I don’t win the Mystery Box I still consider myself a winner. I am still so new at this, have only made 2 cards (& working on # 3) & I feel so overwhelmed by everything that I see that my head is just swirling around with so many ideas that I can’t keep them straight of what I want to do with what product. The free gifts and extra’s from the past 2 Expo’s here in Duluth, Ga have been beautiful and also generous which makes the thought of what might be in that box that much more exciting. I would love to unwrap a mystery box. I had dabbled with card making for a while but two years ago after my heart surgery I made cards more and more. It was something I could easily do for a short period of time and put away when I got tired. It didn’t take up much space then, but now it encompasses one whole end of my living room. each new skill I have learned; embossing, die cutting has been like unwrapping a mystery box

Who doesn’t love a good mystery – its like reading a great mystery book. Especially the scrapbook mystery series by Laura Childs you never know what you are going to get – but that’s the fun of it. Who doesn’t like surprises and all the fun stuff you can create and thinking outside the box – the scrapbox mystery box! Hey, that would make a great title for the next mystery series! 😀
