Hi friends! Here’s today’s card and sketch – it’s a great one for a birthday (or any other occasion that calls for celebrating!) and it’s also good for using up scraps. I like how the neutral card base lets the pretty patterns show off.
I turned to my Silhouette and made a cut-out sentiment the same size as my card front. I taped small bits of patterned paper behind the openings and added a cut-out butterfly at the bottom (the butterfly file is by Lori Whitlock and is available for purchase here).
I want to share the sentiment cut file with you! To download it for free, go HERE: free_happy day card front
If you use this, I’d love to see what you make! Add it to our flickr pool or share a link in the comments. Have a great week!
Love this card idea! Thank you!
I always love Ashley’s work! And those stitched hearts are so perfect! Thanks for the fun card file too!
I love the cut-out design of the sentiment. What a clever way to use up scraps of paper we may have in our stash! Thanks for sharing :0)
