Good morning, my crafty friends! I hope you are enjoying a nice relaxing weekend. Valentine’s Day is approaching rapidly so here are a few love-themed projects I wanted to share with you.
Love Love Love by Amy Sheffer
What’s not to love about this adorable heart card designed by Amy Sheffer? This is such a perfect card for Valentines Day, plus it is one of those cards you can use anytime to just say “I Love You.” Don’t you just love the textured background along with the fluttering hearts? Share the love by creating beautiful Valentine cards to give to those who are so special to you. You still have plenty of time to get them done! I fell in love with this card, featured on the Taylored Expressions blog.
Amy used the Hearts A Flutter Cutting Plate and Heart Stacklets from Taylored Expressions to create this beautiful card. Amy has so many wonderful projects you don’t want to miss out on, so be sure to visit her blog Pickled Paper Designs. You will have endless inspiration for your week!
Beautiful Days layout by Shellye McDaniel
This lovely layout brings a breath of fresh air. (I don’t know about you but I am ready for it to be spring.) I love how these pretty papers make it so easy to create a scrapbook page with nothing else but papers. Add a few elements and you have everything you need to create something truly beautiful.
Shellye is on the design team for Authentique. I would like to say thank you to Shellye, author of Papered Cottage, for her outstanding layout – this is one of those designs you can’t wait to create. The Classique Beauty Collection is a must-have. There is something about yellow… it is such a happy color!
With Love created by Lols
It is time to pull out your colored pencils, markers, and even your chalks to have some fun creating this delightful card. The beauty of stamps is that you can color the image with any of your favorite products. The possibilities are just endless! This is one of those wonderful stamp sets that is so versatile you can create a card for any occasion.
Be sure to stop by Lols’ blog Lorraine’s Loft where you are going to find so many more of Lols’ wonderful projects, along with tons of inspiration.
Lace Makeover by Kelli Johnson
Who would have ever thought the technique of using lace and spray paint would turn an old dresser into something so beautiful? When I came across this dresser on the Design-Innovate-Create blog it was definitely a “WOW” project. I immediately called my daughter and she and I got together and tried this technique. Can I just say our project turned out so charming?
You don’t even have to buy new hardware. Spray the old hardware with metallic paint to spice it up. This is a home project that is so simple and yet so elegant. Don’t be afraid to give it a try – I promise you will love the end result!
White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake
This is a great way to fancy up a cheesecake. This yummy and also attractive cheesecake really is very simple to make and it looks like you spent hours on it. Do you want to make something special for your sweetheart, a good friend, or even your family? This would be a great gift to either give or receive on Valentine’s Day.
Be sure to visit the Cooking Classy with Jaclyn for more of her wonderful recipes. She will be such an inspiration to you in your kitchen. Not only does she have the best desserts, but you will find yourself making many of her wonderful dinners as well.
I hope I have left you today with a smile on your face and full of wonderful inspiration. It is always such a blessing for me to be able to share fun and creative projects with you each Saturday. Enjoy your weekend and I will see you back here next week!
Thanks for the inspiration LeAnn, your cards are beautiful, I was looking for ideas for a card for my hubbie.
Thanks for sharing so many gorgeous works of art! I especially love the first (heart) card and the cheesecake.
